I think you had better go back and re-read your own thread.. cuz I was not the skeptical one when you posted this.. others were. I look at everything with an open mind, hence why I took the hours to do the back-testing and post it.

Kreatture, what I find of more interest is that the 12- year compilation of those teams hit the under at a 53.3% rate when used according to the rules of the homestand. This is just made to be used with Labourche lines. Seems to me that you would be clearing lines pretty regularly without the risk of the dreaded 6 or 7-game wipeout.

Yes, that is why I put the percentages on Games 1-4, because that stuck out to me as well.
I was hoping someone who plays the Labourchere would comment on this, and give opinion.

On it's own, it would be profitable but like you say, not that many plays a year. That's OK as long as your units are high enough to make it worthwhile. I think I'd prefer going with lower units and use this system along with others to generate more plays. Maybe something along the lines of Rizz's chase combined with this would provide enough action. One other thing.. throw out the Dodgers and the win % goes to 54.9. I don't know about the Seattle ballpark but I know that SD, SF, and OAK ballparks are right on the water making for heavy air. Chavez Ravine has a drier climate.

The Dodgers have usually stressed pitching rather than hitting. Maybe that's what sportsbath is remembering. The numbers certainly don't back up the Dodgers playing the majority of unders. Are there any East Coast ballparks on the water?

Or.. do you have the stats for all home games for those 4 teams, SEA, SD, SF, and OAK? What are the under %'s? We could get more plays maybe at about the same win %.

I did not do it for all home games overall.

I have been looking at Overs.. I was thinking maybe teams which play indoors, or have retractable roofs might be a good source for Overs.

Of course, the only true indoor team nowadays are Tampa Bay. Houston, Toronto, Arizona, & Seattle all play with roofs which can be closed.

I am tired of checking now, and I'm watching the end of these late games quite closely.. but I checked Houston, Tampa Bay and Toronto since 1999.

Zero combined losses for minimum 7 game series.. there were a few 6 game series losses. Toronto, in particular, had an unbelievable number of Game 1 & 2 Overs.

Do you think it's worth checking the other teams, and is there merit to saying indoor teams would lead to more Overs, or is it just a coincidence?

Well, I know that Houston and Arizona are hitters parks and that is reflected in the O/U being a higher number on average. I don't know about the indoor angle however. The proof is in the numbers. Certainly over an 11 year period is an adequate amount of time to rule out coincidences. If TOR has a lot of overs at home, there has got to be a reason.

gee iknow houston has a prob...with scoring runs...i think there maybe something to what kreature says ...but i guess we have to look at the numbers o be sure.......

San Francisco is not, it was only for minimum 7-Game series. They don't have a play again until July 26th.

I AM BACK......and today was a start and hope a finish to west coast.........1unit on seatlle under.......7 th  under  on sd........

excuse tonight was not aplay on seattle it wa only a 6 game hometand...just sd.....

that was the longest chase of the season so far but it got there,,,,,,,,,now we wait for the next west coast team with a 7 game or more homestand,,,that makes the record with out a loss in this chase 290 wins or units  and 0 losses since 2007.....and that is in black and white.....
