How many units per bankroll?

Trying to get an idea of the smallest starting BR I could get away with.  I've seen people talk about 100 units, but that'd be 100K if I want to play 1K per bet.  I've had 3 losing months in my last 17 and those percentages were 48%, 52% and 52%.  So those months wouldn't have hit the BR all that much.  Obviously I could run into a string of 40% months but I feel like 17 months is a decent sample size of who you are as a bettor.  Thinking I could get by on 30-50 units and not be in huge danger of tapping out.  Thanks for any thoughts.

How many of units you think you need, take that number and double it.

So you need 60-100 units, preferably 100.
I had a mate who was operating with 15 units and he was having a laugh at me for using 100.
Well he lost all 15 units but I'm still going and we were following the same handicapper.
Better safe than sorry in this game. Patience is the key.

depends on what you play: 

3 game chase 1-1.5% .  to build bankroll quickly try compounding it after a win. if betting 1%  of bankroll after a win on 3 game chase  readjust the bet too 1%  the new bankroll size or after a loss readjust the bet too new bankroll size bet 1%.

coolspot......  In addition, when i use a Labby strategy, i like to do somewhat the same.  If i start, lets say ($100 = 25-25-25-25) and clear a line, my next starting line is my original plus # of lines cleared (26-26-26-26), after my second line clears new line is 27-27-27-27 and so on.......as my number of lines clear, my new starting line grows.  Works great for aggressive bankroll building if you can stay away from dreaded 4-5 game consecutive losses :) 

totally agree combining labby with 1% compounded  strategy is a good way to do it.
