Also, just so people know, Baltimore is now the dog. However it is still a play since they opened as the favourite.

I never mentioned anything about 8 cent lines sucking, I was refering to the two 20 cent books.

Oh alright, by 'both' I thought you meant both juices (20 cent and 8 cent)

It depends where you are getting your opening line!  If its Covers, you have 2 choices.  The one I think you are using is really Wagerlines in the scores and matchups section and yes, they did open as the fav at  -111.  However, if you use the live odds, it shows vegas opened Det as the -115 fav.

since your single game totals are hitting around 60% have you thought about parlays?  If you have 5 games on the same day what about a 3 team round robin of the 5.  That would come out to 10 parlays.
 
Your system has been good for you so far so you should stick to how you been picking your games.  However, if you are looking to add upon it maybe you should look more into the game.  For instance Col was your play but if you look deeper, you would see they are on a 4 game losing streak and only scored 2 runs past 4 games and 0 in their past 2.  In baseball, one should never pick a team to come off a losing streak.  Baseball is all about streaks.  What constitutes a streak, it could be what ever you want it to be.  When a team gets swept and loses the rubber match of the series before that, that is a losing streak.  With that said I would not bet against a team on a winning strek.  Just my 2 cents and even thou Col is down 3-0 right now and just finally got their 1st hit in the 4th they can still come back and win the game.  Like I said before you have a system that is working and sometimes its best not to fix if it is not broken.   They just scored a run, 3-1.

COL came thru for you to go 1-1, even thou I really think you were 1-0.  Balt should have never been a play IMO as they opened a dog and were a dog at game time.  As stated above Col would not have been a play for me either but I do see some tomorrow.  I will post them later.

                So we went 1-1 today. Now I can play Col tomorrow, or stop now, right? And, I bet enough on Bal to cover the amount lost tonight? I found 4 teams that qualify for tomorrow's games. They are Min, Chi white sox, Fla, and Arz(just barely a fav, according to the early line I see). Let me know if I missed one or messed up on one of these picks. Thanks TP

Games I would play but I am not going to jump onto the bandwagon until Monday, when the 2nd series after the break starts.
 
FLA looks like the best bet of my 3, followed by MIN and CHW brings up the rear.  ARZ is to close to a pick'em.

Yeah I'm testing the system for both every game of the series and I'm also separately testing chasing for the series. As for the games, yeah you're right.

Interesting stuff Tom.  Want some questions?  Here ya go:

#1)  you typed - "The system says to bet on a team that is a home favourite in the FIRST game of a series"  Did you spell it favourite because you are British?  Nah, that's not really my question.  I was wondering if betting every single game and/or chasing was your own addition to this system and how this did just betting the first game only.

#2)  Does it matter to your betting success in the home favorite series if their underdog loss in the last game of the previous series was home or away?

#3)  Why does the NL have less success in this?  Is it because of interleague play?

I know it's work but i got curious.  Thanks in advance for your replies.  If you don't feel like answering them a simple "Sod off ya wanker!" will suffice.

1) Lol I'm actually Canadian, we spell it favourite too. I'm not really sure what you meant by "my own addition" I really just found that both seemed profitable. As for the record for first game only..
Last season
AL = 24-14 (63.16%)
NL = 35-29 (54.69%)
Total = 59-43 (56.73%)

So far this season
AL = 24-9 (72.77%)
NL = 23-18 (56.10%)
Total = 47-27 (63.51%)

2) I tried checking that before I tested this system and forgot to continue checking the H/A lol, from what I found there doesn't seem to be much difference but I want to go back and get a more thorough look.

3) I'm actually trying to find the reason that NL is less successful, and I can't seem to figure it out. It's possible that it has to do with interleague since AL > NL but I'll let you know if I can find anything conclusive.

What a suck ass week so far. I see 3 teams possibly for tomorrow....Phi, Cle and Oak...if they open as home favs. I think Houston lost all confidence after giving up 7 runs in the 9th inning in game 1 of their series with Pit. what do you think, TP?
