For any mathletes out there...
Is there an optimal way to hedge a parlay when the final leg is a favorite -1 run? Meaning the parlay reduces if they win by 1 run, wins if they win by 2+. Risking 1u to win 11.6u (6.4u if it reduces).
Final parlay leg is -1 (-144) and hedging possibilities are +167, +1 run (+117), or +1.5 (-115).
With the +1, I would push my hedge if the parlay reduces or win the hedge with the +1.5 but is the extra juice worth it? I was thinking some combination of the +167 and the +1.5 (-115) might be best but that's just a guess, can anyone that's good at math help me out?
