Dude, Thanks for chiming in. I do pretty much the same as you state on your website except I use a four game formula. Do you find that the 6 game is more accurate? Also, just to add in on the injury front, I also look to see if the starting MLB is out as this can have an influence on the final score.

I use 6 because once you cross out the highest and lowest scores for each team you end up with a solid average for 4 games. If a team has a heavy running game I will also check out the Linebackers. If a starting LB is out some teams might pound that hole with the running game.
Also to note, I know I state in the website that I don't use the running game stats but sometimes you get 2 teams that have excellent passing games. In that case I'll take a margin of the YPR because that gives me an idea of who will get more first downs.

Sweet. I forgot to ask you, do you use the last few weeks scores from the previous year to crank the power ratings up right from the start or do you wait until you have 6 games completed?

I use the last 6 games of the previous season, but I don't include week 17. Because most games in the last week don't mean anything.
The 1st 4 weeks of the season I usually bet really light, sometimes I just do some cheap parlays just for the action. In week 5 I start picking out my best 3 games.
