Im curious how often do the consensus picks on covers are correct, like the ones over 70%. If its correct 60% of the time that would be a great system wouldnt it? Has anyone ever followed this?

i have the data from 2005 to 2013 and i can tell you that consensus picks in nfl, nba, ncaaf and nhl are not useful. there are only some circumstances you can use.

i can give a hint, for example under certain conditions it is usefull to use consensus picks at totals and ats. for the last 7 seasons I created a system which generates around 10% yield in the nfl.

i can tell you, that it is not a chase system or anything like that. just look at the picks for over and under at the consensus and odds movement. create conditions when to take a bet and when not.
