Had the game on the ML last night in the Yankees game. But with that high juice, that is why I only wagered to win 50 instead of the 100.
Today I will be changing it up to the RL, b/c I am not laying 960 to win 200. Got the Yankees -155 on the RL. 232/150. Just trying to make up units from last night. No profit.
Stl. also lost their first Game 1 for me last night. Today's game looks tough, as the ML is only -105. Taking that for 157/150. Trying to win back loss and add about 1 unit in profit.
Colorado was a new addition last night. Won that on the A. Had 70/50, so picked up 2 units profit there.
And, also added Boston last night -200, risking 100/50. Game was called, so I got my money back. That was lucky, as Tampa had the bases loaded with no outs in the 1st inning.
So, to recap:
Nyy (Game 2) -155 on the Runline for 232/150. Looking to recover loss from game 1 only.
Stl (Game 2) -105 on the ML for 157/150. Looking to recover loss from game one and add about 1 unit of profit.
GL everyone following, especially you On3 with all that juice, yikes!

I couldn't play the Yankees today either.. just didn't make good sense. Unfortunately, I did play the Twins instead.. altho I didn't lose nearly as much as if I played the Yankees, it's still another loss..
Things are continuing on a downward spiral.. ugh
Tigers better win tonight.. And I'm going to pound Texas and Boston tomorrow. Two double headers, you have to think the 2 home teams will earn at least 1 win tomorrow.

This is getting ugly. Stl. loses game 2 in the 9th inning. That sucks.
Yankees get blown out again at home to the Orioles. WTF???
I guess I should have laid off the teams that have nothing to play for.
However, I am going to go with STL to cut some losses. STL -165. Wagering 330/200.
On the Yankees, the juice is higher than ever (-340!!!). Even the RL is -160.
Already down a lot on this series. Everything that could go wrong did. I really want to skip this series and cut my losses. Don't want to throw good money after bad. You would think it would be safe to take this game with CC on the mound, but with the way things are going, he could get shelled. But, I am gonna go with a small wager here on the RL to try to win back some losses.
Yankees -160 on the RL. Wagering 160/100.
GL to all. I am sorry to those that have followed this experiment and have lost as much as me so far. Will be coming up with a new plan Monday to figure out where to go from here. I think at the least, I will not be going with 3 series at a time.

I sank everything I had left into the NFL tho, and thankfully had a big payday there.
I think I am done with baseball for this year, it was a great season, with many tough learning lessons. A very costly September lesson as well. With NFL underway, and NHL around the corner.. I may sit on the bench until MLB Playoffs roll around.
Best of Luck if you continue this, but I would only play on teams who u think will win the Wild Card or West Divisions - Boston, Colorado, LAD, LAA

Thanks kreatture, and good points.
Picked up some money with the yankees. Then Stl get smoked and swept.
Lost about $900 this weekend, about 36 units. I am embarrased, but in the spirit of trancparency, I am posting that to keep track.
I will update the totals shortly. Not really looking forward to seeing those numbers.
I am taking Stl tonight, assuming they will win at least one vs. Florida and not get swept 2 times in a row.
Stl. -101/100.
Will be skipping the yanks tonight in a 1 game series with LAA, and will skip them in game 1 tomorrow vs Toronto and Halliday.
In fact, might be shutting this whole thing down. good advice by Kreatture.

Breaking even before the end of the regular season would be a miracle at this point. Classic error on my part: assuming the improbable won't happen.
Lessons learned here. One would be betting too many teams for too much money. Classic mistake (Kreatture knows this one) of raising units too high too fast.
Positives are that i still have a good bankroll, and I have NBA, NHL, and NFL systems starting soon to get back into it. Also have MLB playoffs to come soon. Have to take a deep breath, settle down, and remember that i am not in a sprint. This is just a temporary setback in a long year. I am not gonna bet nervous and try to hit homeruns getting back into the green.
GL all. And I apologize to any that followed this and lost as much as me.

This is what I started doing late last week.. going for the home run ball while I really just needed to have a good eye, accept a walk, and play small ball to get around the bases for a run or two.
Fortunately, NFL was great yesterday, went 12-2 straight up and 11-3 ATS, but went 3-0 on the games I wagered for +$522. Then made another +$100 on Kim Clijsters last night Live Wagering in the US Open Final.
Just made $+50 on Roger Federer for the 1st set.. hopin to make a little more before it ends, heading into the big MNF games later!!
I think the most important thing you said above, was the fact that NHL, NBA, and NFL are upcoming. Since this is my 1st year doing this, I think I panicked because I was unsure if I would be able to made the successful jump to the other spots. Baseball was such a huge success (up til last week) and I was scared of not being able to do it in the Fall/Winter.
Tough lesson learned.. if somehow I am blessed enough to still be here come next September, there will definitely be no baseball!!

Got out of the rut last night. Stl. blew a nice lead, and I thought I was toast and the losing would continue. Well, got lucky and they came back and pounded Florida. Picked up 4 units ($100).
So got another A win with the Cards.
Total games: 14-9
Total series: 14-2
Total money: -$795. or -32.8 units.
Going with colorado tonight in their game 2 vs. San Fran. Colorado was previously swept by SF and lost again last night, so i like my chances in the remaining two
Colorado -128. 64/50 (wagering to win 2 units).
Boston is playing a great LAA team, and I will lay off this series, will most likely pick them up next time they aren't playing a top team.
Like the Phillies to win at least one vs. Washington, but the juice is high (300) for Cliff Lee tonight. Plus the closer situation is still shakey. Of course they swept the Mets in a 4 game series and I skipped them all! I think a loss tonight by the phils might call for a look at them in game 2 and 3.
GL. Shooting for break even by the season's send. There are enough series left to do this. Hell, there's enough series left to still profit.

I'm also looking at maybe adding Detroit tonight. I just worry about betting on them, as they have too many lemon asses in my opinion...
Trying not to overdo things the next 2-3 weeks with MLB. Hoping SN will provide some profitable picks over that span in the NFL.
Self-control will be key. There is TOO much to bet on right now with NCAA, NFL and MLB. I keep reminding myself over and over that i can get back my losses of last weekend, and that it might take the rest of the month or more.
Kreatture, how do you plan on approaching the MLB playoffs? Handicap individual games, or pick specific series to chase?

Adding Detroit -160/100.
Again risking with the assumption that a team will not get swept back to back times by another. Especially in this one b/c: Detroit is at home where they are very good, they were swept in the last week by KC (a bottom 5 team), and Detroit is a playoff team.
With all that said, KC could kill me here, as this is September baseball afterall.
But, I feel confident b/c the two teams I am taking tonight were previously swept by their opponents, and I am going with the numbers that this will not happen again. How these series conclude will dictate whether or not I hang it up with MLB unitl the playoffs or not.

Well of course Colorado loses game two. I add the tigers, they lose game 1 to KC. And I skip the phils and they win 5-0.
I officially am the dumbest person on Covers for chasing september baseball.
I am gonna finish tonight with Colorado, and detroit. And then I am done until playoff time. Need to stop the bleeding and learn my lesson once and for all. I am stubborn and usually need to learn the hard way.
Really looking forward to NBA NHL and NFL and future success there. Will be starting small and trying to rebuild. I know i'll get it back, but just means I won't be cashing out any profits this month or next. 10 days ago I could have.

After the fall of Philly against the Astros, I played every game since on them and the record is 7-2 and going.....!
Philly got screwed good and they are on fire since, and I got my prediction right on them. Got 5 units again tonight on them. The juice is high but i got a nice payout rollin.
I still eye the Yanks and Cards following your posts, and I only put money on the A-game, and follow with the Phillies and the Dodgers.
So my play today is only Philly.
Tomorow should be Philly, Yanks and st-Lou, as well as the dodgers. I'll be back tomorow to confirm.

Cool guys.
Got back units with tigers and rockies last night. Also hit with SanDiego.
Meeker, did'nt the Houston chase lose for JM? They got swept again by cinci, and I don't remember them being a +1.5 rl.
I will update units later when I have time. Same with my thoughts on NFL.
No bets for me tonght. Perhaps take one game tomorrow in the new rounf of series for teeny units.
