I konw you probably already saw this but putting in the NO @ SAC bet made me look at it. You can save some juice since buying -.5 to +.5 point is the same thing on spreads for -2.5. This as opposed to buying all the way to +.5. Saving juice!

I'm just wondering if you have two picks or more.  Why not just teaser two teams.  It's a great savings on the juice.

good point, might try it. I ran the numbers for not buying the points. these are the results...
    • Game 1 - 73-51-2 (59%)
    • Game 2 - 23-26 (47%)
    • Game 3 - 13-12-1 (52%)
So it doesn't make sense to chase in game 2 and 3 since the odds aren't that great, but game 1s hitting at 60% is pretty good. If you combine this with the system you could add to your winnings. So if you only played the game ones betting 5 units to win 4.55 units, you'd be up a little more than 77 units. Add that to the +137 units to the adjusted chase system and you're up almost 215 units on the NBA year...not bad. Still need to run the numbers on the system suggested by Cisco.

I copy and pasted from my spreadsheet, it should of been...
    • Chicago - game 2
    • Clippers - game 2
    • Charlotte - game 1 if they win tonight, game 3 if they lose, right now they're down 14 in the 2nd quarter, so it will probably be a game 3

So are you saying if you don't buy the 3 points the first game in the series still hits at 59%......

If so, then forget the points and chase.  Just give me that 1st game straight up.

Yea that's what I'm sayin. Last night it didn't do so well though. It went 1-3. The Rockets didn't cover by 1, but that's the way it goes.

I didn't add the total units the the overall record it should be +162 units, not +111

The records for games 1s and game 3s are positive money and the steep losing record for the game 2s is hurting the overall units. I ran a scenario...

If you play game 1s with game 2s wager you would be up 80 units...
    88 wins x 8 units = 704 units
    48 losses x 13 units = 624 units
    total = +80 units

let's say you skip game 2s but still tracked it

if it goes to a game 3 then double up your game 1 bet, not necessarily chase, you would be up
    14 wins x 16 units = 224 units
    3 losses x 26 units = 78 units
    total +146 units

    game 1s +80 units
              +
    game 3s +146 units
              =
    a nice +226 units

I think this will be the way I play the system here on out

In Cisco's system yes, but in my system the series starts over after a win within the current road streak as long as there are at least 3 games left to play, here's a current example of a 5 game series the Bobcats just had...
    • Series 1
      • Game 1 @ Clippers
    • Series 2
      • Game 1 @ Sacramento
      • Game 2 @ Golden State
      • Game 3a @ Denver PUSH
      • Game 3b @ Phoenix
here's the Lakers current road trip
    • Series 1
      • Game 1 @ Detroit
    • Series 2
      • Game 1 @ Toronto
    • Series 3
      • Game 1 @ Washington
    • Series 4
      • Game 1 @ New Jersey
    • Series 5
      • Game 1 @ Atlanta (tomorrow)
    • Remaining games on road trip
      • Orlando
      • Miami
      • Charlotte
      • Minnesota
So if you played strictly Cisco's system, you would have missed out on 3 more wins so far

    hope that makes sense

    Chicago +7.5
    Spurs -4.5
    Lakers -3
Hornets +7 <---no play yet, I want to see if the line moves from +5 to +5.5 or something

I haven't done the research for the 2 pts, not sure what book you use, but I know beted.com allows you to buy 3 points. I've considered playing them as a teaser, you get more points, and the juice is better, but I hate that if one of the games turns into a blowout all picks lose. I'll research it back to the start of the season though to see what the records would be.

    GL tonight

betus.com offers the points as well, only thing about them is their lines seems to be about 1/2 point higher than average.  the winning percentage between buying 2 and 3 point in the system is very small, i use the system and I only buy 2 points..
