Hey guys...I'm doing more backtesting (busy so its going really slow) but I might have jumped the gun regarding losses on the AJM system. So we might be good! One thing I realize I didn't account for is 1.5 runs on the 'A' games. I'll continue backtesting what I can and post findings unless someone else beats me to it. -stick

Ok, I completed backtesting 2009 season...was easy since someone on another forum posted all 'official' and 'unofficial' (i.e. didn't meet RPI filter requirement) JM plays. The plays that passed the RPI filter had two losses...and it was on the ANTI JM system. The +1.5 runline would not have helped in any of the games. Also had a 2-3 double wins on the 'A' bet on this system. Very nice results IMO.
As far as the 'unofficial' plays go...well that was like the wild, wild west! 4 losses there on ANTI JM and 2-3 on JM. You would have thought ANTI JM did really well there. I went into thinking maybe we only play ANTI JM on the unofficial plays...but might be a bad idea. Also, there were 6 games you would have won on the double bet. So...not sure we want to bet both sides on the 'unofficial' plays. If you do play with caution.
Not sure if or when I will have time to do previous seasons.

The +2.5 runline would have really helped on the JM system as it eliminated a few losses...it also eliminated one loss on the ANTI JM (the one loss under the official plays). Unfortunately we still had several losses on the ANTI JM system under 'unofficial plays'. In these instances it was just a scenario where a bad team (i.e. Balt, Pit, or Wash for example) was playing a good team and beat them in all 3 games. Under ANTI JM you would have been betting the better team as the moneyline fav and lost. I did notice that 3 out of the 4 losses the team you would have been on was on the road so maybe we consider that...also out of the 4 teams were in the bottom 5 of the standings.
