I have a database where I track situational win percentages. Win streaks, over/unders and standard deviations. I break the standard deviations down into many categories. My plays are 3 to 5 units. When a team falls into a category I consider that one unit. A team must fall into 3 categories to be a play. A 5 unit play is the perfect storm, very rare and hitting 66%.

Should have been 4-0 +12 units today but I'm too cheap and bailed out on the expensive Nats.

300 plays are officially in the books and the system is still up big. The system has been treading water for about a month and a half but the important thing is that no one is getting hurt. 

I have been staying up late these days breaking down various systems. Trying to find the numbers inside the numbers. (If you know what I mean) Unfortunately my findings are that home favs are the way to go. It seems chalk is good in MLB.

Here is to a profitable 2nd half of the MLB season.
