There is just a bit of a strangeness in figuring Bears W/L with a "veteran rookie' QB like Grossman & a 1st-rate back-up like Griese to boot. may be enough of a difference in "norm" to upset a system play. Marquis, ABC system happens all the time with mixed results, I believe - I'm a Jets fan, love that they having a good season, but even the most optimistic Jets fans I know (myself included) have doubts about Jets rising up to beat a very good NFL team two weeks in a row. Win over Pats was in very bad weather and they don't score a lot of points and have a very shaky run defense and pass rush. Marquis, love all this info, but Bears margin was exagerated by that 104 yard field goal return, if Giants had made that one, they would have been trailing by one with under 10 minutes to go, Bears later added int return for TD, not much "energy" expended. Not saying Giants would have won, they were definitely the worse team after 1st quarter. If Jets pull off this upset, we'll have to talk more. Not betting them, but it will be fun to root for them and hope you win your teasers too.

It was a good try for you, Marquis, I actually picked the Jets this week, I won small office pool despite getting it wrong, Jets really could have won - I like systems that identify "live" underdogs, still think Jets were "live" yesterday, like Titans - live to me meaning competitive, like last week, if you go back to schedule, just about every dog was live. The games that fall into this pattern this week are: Philly @ Washington......take Redskins Bills @ Jets......take Bills Tenn @ Houston......take Tennesee Seattle @ Arizona......take Arizona

Very Impressive--If I worked it correctly, this week's results are 3-0-1. Naturally I want to look into this further . . . A couple of questions---Has anybody actually gone back over many years of NFL results to verify that this is in fact a consistent winning system? Also, you say that the system also works for the NBA--same question applies here--anybody actually checked it over a large sample? Another question--two of you have referred to "tweaking the system". The only tweaks I see mentioned are (1) ignoring byes and (2) counting a dog that covers the same as a dog that wins. Does this apply to ALL dogs that cover? ok aweishie as far back as 11 years of results in NFL i have seen the same results when a team wins as a DOG of say 2 or more points then are Favored next week by 2 or more points YOU fade them Im not going to post the results from 11 years in here ! Tweaking The sytesm is beacuse they are usally a DOG a Cover is considered a WIN for them especaailly if it was VS a DIV Rival and then they are favored vs a NON Div opponent they lose the money over 90% of the time a lot of teams in NFL are always Dogged TEXANS , Lions, Cardinals, Browns, Raiders,Packers,49ers, so if They Cover as a DOG thats considered a WIN for them then if favored next game Fade them if They PUSH as a DOG then are favored next week i never looked at ! BUT id rather they would Cover the Number or WIN the Game Then Be Favored next Week ! Realy strong is if They WON as a DOG over a DIV Rival then are Favored vs a NON Div team the win % zooms to 90% ! in math terms say a team wins as a 7pt Dog Thats Plus 7 points next week they are Favored by 3 so that a minus 3 thats a TEN point swing ! when you have a Negative number vs a postive number you add them to gether to get the difference from the zero line ! +7 + a -3 = 10 of course some teams are so badly injured they should be a dog and that team will smack em around ||an_speak.gif' border=0>
