So with my roll being $1357 my first play would be lay $8.28 to win $7.53, right? If I lost, my 2nd play would be to win $16.56 etc...?

He's right... before every new 7 game chase, you should evaluate your bankroll to find the optimum betting prices to increase value and fully take advantage of your bankroll. That's a lot of math unless you have the formula... if there is one.
I think the easiest way is to just start with your bankroll and cut it in half 8 times and that will be close enough. Remember that you obviously won't get to your full bankroll so it is the 7 values before that you use to bet.

hahah I am NOT a high roller... I put 3k on Baylor and 3k on Northern Iowa but those were HUGE bets for me... my bankroll is only at like 8k. I started with 5k a year ago and haven't withdrawn or deposited since. I normally bet a hundred or two a game but I've come here and everyone is betting so much so I've started to bet large...... lol peer pressure, and I wanna either win big or lose it all.. I'm tired of betting small. I have 3k on Kansas St -3.5 and 3k on the UNDER.. I hope I at least get the udner cause KSU is looking awful.
