12-0 for the Modified NFL System (i believe in this thread we only played 6 or 7 modified system games, but the year record was, I believe, 12-0)

2008 --
10-0 Modified NFL System

If someone wants to back test an Anti-JM NFL System, please contribute!

Here are the rules:

3 game chase, bets A, B, C. The 3 game chase starts once a team loses 3 SU and 3 ATS. Play the next three games on the spread (if a dog) and ML (if a favorite). Buy a half point to a full point to push the spread over/under a key number (3, 7, 10, 14, 17, 21).

Modified system:
3 game chase, bets A, B, C. The 3 game chase starts once a team loses 2 SU and 2 ATS IF THAT TEAM STILL HAS A .500 OR BETTER RECORD AFTER BOTH LOSSES. Play the next three games on the spread (if a dog) and ML (if a favorite). Buy a half point to a full point to push the spread over/under a key number (3, 7, 10, 14, 17, 21).

If Smitler or someone can do an Anti-JM NFL System back test, maybe we can try it for 2010.

A reminder about one other JM play to start the new NFL season....Bet a chase against the NO Saints for the first three games.  Apparently, for over 40 years, no previous year's Super Bowl winner has covered the spread in all of their first three games of the next season.  Go with MINN as an [A] bet in week #1 against NO....chase with a [B] and [C] if necessary.

is this for preseason or regular season?

Regular season

non-related system post. but for preseason, teams who score 6 points or less in a given game, cover the spread their next game around 70% of the time. just in case anyone wants to play the Bengals this weekend.

does the JM system work for NCAAF?

does anybody know if the system did as well without buying points, just using closing lines?

 

im looking at the past 4 seasons of an anti-jm, without buying points (based on closing lines). there are losses, but much less expensive than chasing a fav ML if they are -5 or something,

might be profitable to chase both JM and AJM together.

ill post results when im done.

1.If betting local and no ML, would you still chase if a team is favored? if so, would you still buy point down like you do for a dog on a key number?

2.Has this been back tested where you have three teams in a chase and couple individual bets with a three team 10 pt teaser with the teams you are chasing?  

3.does this work for college ball?

hey on3 good to see ya  still here! ive been gone for awhile, wanted to say thanks for keeping this going we rocked last year!!!

For all the questions about ncaa fotball yes it does work, I used it last year and did well i believe on3 did to i think.   USAKANGY had the thread , but i dont think he is on here.  If i have time this week i will catch up the system and start a new thread, that way we dont get confused   look forward to another good season on3  !!!!
