Thanks Smitler, I will go back and figure out the yearly total this week end -- working girl do not have a couple hours to do during week
but I can spend a couple of minutes everyday updating the current
once we get the correct YTD total this will be very easy to maintain

Don't be such a box. If you are willing to go to Game 6 ("F" in the alphabet) you would be undefeated.
Lower your wager for WAS, BOS, and SJ as these three have consistently been problems this season.
I'm gathering data to try to improve this system because for some unexplained reason (I'm a degenerate) I like to play it.

I never did see any reason why these games after an OT game should follow a pattern for totals. There wasn't any logical reason for it. The only thing that made sense to me was that if you played over for the even totals (5.0 or 6.0) you could get the benefit of a 2-2 or 3-3 tie to either get you a push or a win respectively. If you played under 5.5, the 2-2 tie after regulation made you a winner automatically. The OT trigger has always been a mystery to me.
