Welcome!
I will lay out in very simple terms, step by step, on how to play my 2 game parlay system picks. The system that chooses and how it works will be explained later in this thread. The A side teams are the teams that are chosen that are AGAINST the public consensus, at the time of the posting. The B side teams, are of course the exact opposite plays, and would be WITH the public consensus. Your only choice is to decide to go against or with the public consensus. The program is designed to ON THE WHOLE, produce POTENTIAL strings of winners, if the correct side is chosen, for a greater number of wins.
Today there are 12 games in the MLB to place bets on. This is what we start with…
951 Florida Marlins 120
952 Los Angeles Dodgers -140
953 Tampa Bay Rays 105
954 Minnesota Twins -125
955 Baltimore Orioles 115
956 St Louis Cardinals -135
957 Ny Mets Mets 110
958 Boston Red Sox -130
959 Toronto Blue Jays 130
960 Ny Yankees -150
961 San Francisco Giants 110
962 Milwaukee Brewers -130
963 Boston White Sox 105
964 Texas Rangers -125
965 Oakland Athletics 115
966 Chicago Cubs -135
967 LA Angels 100
968 San Diego Padres -120
969 Seattle Mariners 105
970 Colorado Rockies -125
971 Kansas City Royals 110
972 Arizona Diamondbacks -130
973 Washington Nationals 120
974 Atlanta Braves -140
Then I run the games through the computer, and the computer program decides how to divide them up into two groups. Whichever group is most against the consensus becomes the A side, and the other group becomes the B side. There are two ways to determine how to decide the consensus. One is the percentage of people on one side, and the other is the number of games with people on one side. If the number of games are even, then the percentage becomes the tie-breaker. I prefer to go with number of games the public is least playing on…So today the A side TEAMS would be…
952 Los Angeles Dodgers -140
953 Tampa Bay Rays 105
956 St Louis Cardinals -135
957 Ny Mets Mets 110
959 Toronto Blue Jays 130

966 Chicago Cubs -135
968 San Diego Padres -120
970 Colorado Rockies -125
971 Kansas Cit Royals 110
974 Atlanta Braves -140
If you decide to choose the A side TEAMS, your plays would be chosen as such…notice the last game of the day, and the first game of the day, are also parlayed.

Every time you win on a two game parlay, you will generally average about 2.5 units of pure profit. If you lose, you only lose 1 unit, so juice is less of a factor then playing say two favorites individually, and both losing…
If you win 5 or 6 parlays in a day, your take home profit, will be rather good and seems to happen quite often.
I will take a break, wait for today’s results, and proceed with further explanations later. Please keep this thread clean! Thanks!

ahh gotcha, thanks for explaining, only thing we ask now, is that you keep your tracked games in one thread so that you're not making a new thread everyday, which knocks other peoples systems down.
Also, have you tried dividing teams in other ways too? Such as dogs/favs or home/away?

Hi Tom...
I will keep a weekly thread going as these long lists of games will be a lot longer in a week then any thread already in this forum. This will also allow people to view a complete week's worth of posted plays and results without holding their finger on the high speed page down button for more then 20 seconds. I kept starting a new topic every day to allow the trash talk to float down a bit, too...LOL. If I introduce this system to those folks in that forum, I didn't want them to link over here and see all 'THAT'...I am sure you could understand my reasoning.
Now you have asked about dividing into dogs and fav's etc, and yes, I have. It just doesn't work. What I have done instead, is take the entire VALUE (mathematically speaking)of each game and team, and put them into two separate A and B sides. This INCLUDES Dogs/Favs, Home/Aways...plus odds and Probabilities, etc. Then use the overall public consensus, as the determining factor to decide WHICH side is most likely to profit. That is my STRATEGY at this time, but I am more then all ears to find a better way to chose a side, if anyone has any ideas. That's why I brought this here. To complete the system's strategy, and have fun and profit with all of you here. Not to grandstand for fame and glory as someone suggested...LOL.
I'll be back later...:o)

Thanks DogCaller for coming around and resolving the issue in a pleasant manner. I just skimmed your post (a bit busy with work lately) and think you may be on to something. I will look more in depth at it when I have time.
best of luck

Ok. The results are in, and we made +4.83 units of profit on the A side. There were 5 payouts total on that card, two of the payouts possibly reduced by the two games that ended up Push. Thankfully, that should be a rare thing when the real season begins. So I hope I’ve explained this well enough today, so that if any of you decide to go and back-check what I’ve already posted, you might see how profitable it may turn out to be.
Thanks Patrick and Tom for your interest. With a bit of help and support from everyone, maybe we can make something of all this that will make meeting at Wagerline something to look forward to. Tomorrow, then!

I reworked all the games from March 4-12, and spent as much time as needed to be as close to accurate as possible, playing the system as outlined in the 2 Game Parlay system original post, and using a proper odds calculator to determine the results. Choosing the best side each day would have made +47.3 units of profit over 9 days, which averages out to +5.25 units per day. Playing both sides and parlaying them, would have netted you +31.55 units over the 9 days, paying out just over 3.5 units a day. But that's a ridiculous amount of bet placing, isn't it?. Nevertheless, I think that stat shows the edge I might have against the house more then anything. I still think choosing the correct side each day, is the way to go, and if anyone can help with that fine. I'll keep posting the picks for a couple 3 more days, and if there seems to be zero interest, then I'll stop. I know some of you might really like that...LOL!
Cheers!

Thanks so much Tom, for participating!
A strange day for MLB, with so many games not being completed. Nevertheless I congratulate all of you who took the A Team Side, (pun intended) as it was the A Side that took it tonight, with a healthy profit. I forgot to add the first and last game of each slate to the lists, so I will simply post the results of the games as I had listed them...
Results for March 13, Thursday.
A Side WIN +10.59 Units (6 wins 5 los) 2 Push
B Side LOS -1.88 Units (3 wins 8 los) 2 Push
Until tomorrow, then.
Cheers!

A Side LOS -2.95 Units (2 wins 8 los)

System seems to work pretty good but only if playing BOTH sides each day. Hardly a losing day. Gotta get better at getting the right side chosen, though. LOL
Anyone got any ideas? Back in a few hours with Saturday's slate.

Have a Great Day!
Dogcaller,
It appears that your system is doing pretty well, congrats.
I just have a quick question and apologize if this has been covered and I am rehashing things.
So basically, you separate the teams into two groups according to their consensus betting and then put these through a computer to decide which are the best bets? What does the computer end of things entail? Can anyone do this?
I ask because a) I am still a bit confused and b) would like to be able to produce the picks on my own when the season starts.
Thanks so much

Results March 15 (sat)
A Side LOS -1.81 Units (2 wins 7 los)
B Side WIN +0.62 Units (3 wins 6 los)
Insignificant gain and or losses today.
Thanks for the questions Patrick. To answer all questions in detail would take a whole lot of time, but briefly the computer does the game calling, and the games and how they line up against the consensus (already chosen by the public) is how I determine, which side to place the games on.

Results, March 16, (sun)
A Side LOS -4.69 Units (1 win 8 los)
B Side LOS -2.48 Units (2 wins 7 los)
Took a hit today, losing on both sides in a "significant" way, for the first time in 13 days of posting the plays, and 18 days including back-checking. The system was designed to avoid the win, lose, win, lose pattern, but nothing's perfect I guess. If that should happen again within the next week, I might get a bit discouraged... :o(
Monday's slate up next...I'll try to stay optimistic. Unlikely the chop pattern continues, so it should be a good day, if you pick the correct side...
Cheers!

Today might be a really good time to post those totals, bpd67, as it has been exactly 2 weeks, (14 days) since I have been documenting the picks in this forum. Here's the overall results, from March 4-17.This list does not include today's results.
____A Side___B Side
4___+1.49____+7.84
5___+5.32____+3.63
6___+13.84___-6.87
7___-2.15____+3.63
8___-3.63____+1.18
9___+6.48____+6.39
10__-2.67____-1.92
11__+0.91____-5.65
12__-6.39____+10.02
13__+10.59___-1.18
14__-2.95____+8.99
15__-1.18____+0.62
16__-4.69____-2.48
17__+3.71____-1.39
____+18.68___+22.81 +41.49 (both)
Looks like it could be fairly consistent if betting both sides each day. Takes the guesswork out of it, and seems to land a sure overall profit. That's a whole lot of bet placing, I know, but I use to do it online last year, and only took 8-10 minutes for 15 2 game parlays. (high speed internet)Printing the lists out, might make it even quicker. For an average of +80 units a month, I think I could spare the time. But, I caution against jumping on this thing just yet. I've learned that a math based system is only viable, if consistent for 32-40 betting days...hang in there, til then. That's gonna be close enough to the start of the real season, anyways.
Cheers!
