THE NEWBIES!
24SECV- This new Gladiator comes to the Battle Forum with heart and determination. His highest streak is 8 and he has a overall winning pct in Survivor.
Taylorsallstars-This new Gladiator comes into the Battle Forum riding an ugly 10 game losing streak in Survivor. We all know what that means he's probably gonna rip it up in the Battle Forum. Be wary of any Gladiator with nothing to lose.
TeeLocke-This Gladiator makes history regardless of the outcome. She's the first female Gladiator and we're hoping she teaches some of you guys some respect. You better put some respect on her name. Teelocke is not only new in the Battle Forum she is new on Covers. She is the wife of SixBankz. I can already hear what some of you are thinking. LOL

NEWBIES WITH A PEDIGREE
Gorzo-He may be a new Gladiator but Gorzo isn't new to the Pools. He's a veteran in Green's pools and is always a factor. His high streak in Survivor is 15 and he has a winning pct in there as well. Gorzo comes to the Battle Forum with bad intentions believe it.
Ghostrunner-Here is another new Gladiator with an axe to grind. He has a high streak of 16 in Survivor and a winning record as well. Ghostrunner is no newbie when it comes to NCAAB he's 4-1 in his last 5. It's just a tuneup for him as he gets ready to make mince meat out of some Gladiators. This is one Gladiator you don't want to meet when we go to Head to Head.
SixBankz-The tradition continues here in the Battle Forum as we get yet another monthly winner to come here to get some real competition. He joins Grambus and Thedeakon who have all come into the Battle Forum wreaking havoc like Atilla The Hun. SixBankz was the January monthly winner and has a high streak of 14 on Survivor. He's cooled a bit here in February but when has that stopped the monthly winners from kicking butt in the Battle Forum, uh try never. We totally expect SixBankz to keep the tradition going and he is most likely a shoe-in to make the 2nd round.

SMOOTHD-The Founder of the Battle Forum hasn't been treated very well in his own Tournament. Smoothd made it to the Semifinals in Battle Forum I and hasn't been heard from since. That was that epic defeat at the hands of Crush in what is one of the greatest comebacks in Battle Forum History. In Battle Forum IV Smoothd was the poster child for heartbreaking losses. He lost an incredible 3 games on Wild Pitches in the 9th inning. How does that happen? Well it did. So Smoothd will try to get his honor back in Battle Forum V. We will see how that turns out.

BRACKSON13-The legend himself returns for his 3rd Battle Forum. Brackson of course is the All-Time leader in Survivor with that incredible W24 he posted a couple of years ago. He came back with another long streak short thereafter to prove that indeed you can have 2 long streaks in a year. Brackson found out the hard way in Battle Forum III just how tough the competition can be. But because he's a true Gladiator he made a name for himself in Battle Forum IV before losing to eventual Champ Masterone. We expect Brackson to be a force in Battle Forum V as Basketball seems to be his forte. Brackson isn't the Gladiator you want to be facing when the chips are down.

HASHBROWNS-He returns for his 3rd Battle Forum. He has improved in every Battle Forum. Unfortunately Hashbrowns hasn't made the Quarterfinals yet but he has plans to change that in Battle Forum V. He is a veteran not only in the Battle Forum but also in Green's pools. He doesn't play Survivor but don't let the smooth taste fool you. We expect Hashbrowns to make some noise in Battle Forum V without a doubt.

CRUSHALOT-He's been in every Battle Forum so you know he's a proven Gladiator. Crushalot hasn't made it to the Semifinals since Battle Forum I in that miracle comeback against Smoothd. But he has the pedigree to always be a threat. Crushalot is a Covers All-Star with a high streak of 18. You can never count Crush out and if you do it will be to your own demise. We fully expect Crush to make some serious noise in Battle Forum V.

WBELLHAVEN- A true Powerhouse in the Battle Forum. WBellhaven makes noise in every Battle Forum, he's always a factor. He returns for his 3rd Battle Forum. WBellhaven has made the Quarterfinals in the last 2 Battle Forums. He had a high win pct in Battle Forum IV but unfortunately came across Atlanta who was the defending Champ. WBellhaven lost in a classic battle to Atlanta. Despite being down big early WBellhaven came within a whisker of defeating the reigning Champ. Believe me when I tell you WBellhaven is on a mission in Battle Forum V. He's been knocking on that door, we expect him to bust the door in this time. You don't want to go up against one of the toughest Gladiators in the Battle Forum.

MONDO-You can't think of the Battle Forum without thinking of Mondo. He is the Gladiator's Gladiator. He was our 1st Champ and if you want to go to the Finals more than likely you will have to get through Mondo to get there. He is one of only 3 Gladiators to make it to the Semifinals twice. Mondo is a Powerhouse. He fell off in Battle Forum IV but don't you worry your pretty little head we guarantee you Mondo will be back with a vengeance. His mission is to become the first Gladiator to win the Championship twice. If I was you I wouldn't bet against Mondo or you will go broke.

THEDEAKON-The Canadian terror returns to the Battle Forum with revenge on his mind and hate in his heart. Thedeakon has been a force to reckon with in his 2 previous Battle Forums. Unfortunately for Thedeakon he keeps running into absolute legends in the Quarterfinals and he hasn't been able to break through. Battle Forum III he ran into Mondo and was defeated. Battle Forum IV he ran into Degosfinest. It was another crushing defeat. But now Thedeakon is ready. It doesn't matter who he runs into because now Thedeakon will be the feared one. Trust me you don't want to meet the Canadian terror but if you do you better bring a sack lunch because it's going to be an all day battle.

UNSTOPPABLE FORCE-The name itself invokes fear in the heart and minds of Gladiators. He is a force to be reckoned with. Unstoppable enters his 3rd Battle Forum with a serious axe to grind. After making the Semifinals in Battle Forum II Unstoppable hasn't made it back to that level but continues to be a threat. He is most likely one of the most prolific Cappers on Covers. He can get red hot in a flash and has the killer instinct of a Lion. Unstoppable Force will definitely be a huge factor in Battle Forum V and don't be surprised if he doesn't win the whole thing.

UPSET CITY- The name says it all. Upset City will ruin your dreams and have you in tears. He's the Brother of Degosfinest and Arch Rival of Atlanta. Upset City was on his way to a possible repeat of a Championship when he ran into the incredible Grambus. Grambus ended the dream of Upset City battling his Brother Degosfinest. Upset City has made the Quarterfinals 3 times in a row and believe us when we say Upset City will be back in the Quarters again. Don't let the unassuming personality fool you. Upset City is an assassin. If you don't believe us just ask Unstoppable Force. Unstoppable Force was a dominating force in Battle Forum II until he came across Upset City. It was a remarkable Championship for Upset City and we expect him to do some more damage here in Battle Forum V.

ROYAL GLADIATORS
ATLANTA-The man is a Battle Forum legend it's a simple as that. The only reason Atlanta didn't REPEAT in his Championship defense was because he ran into Masterone. Atlanta is the other Gladiator that has been in 2 Semifinals, but he's the only Gladiator to do it 2 times in a row. Yes Atlanta is a monster. This Gladiator is driven by 2 passions. He wants another Championship and he wants to defeat Upset City. It's the stuff of legends when it comes to Atlanta. He's known for not only kicking your butt but also providing colorful commentary while he's doing it. He's the only Gladiator that Upset City will respond to. That alone should tell you how good Atlanta's verbal game is. You won't make it to the Championship if you can't beat Atlanta, it's really that simple. Do we expect Atlanta to make it to the Semifinals for an incredible 3rd time in a row? You better believe we do and just think he had to be encouraged to join Battle Forum V. You can believe that if you want to but we know Atlanta has been waiting for this since his defeat in Battle Forum IV ended his quest to Repeat.

ROYAL GLADIATORS
DEGOSFINEST-Look up the word consistency in the Dictionary and you will this Gladiators picture I guarantee you. You want to be a Powerhouse in the Battle Forum? Then you better be able to take on Degosfinest. He's the 3rd and final Gladiator that's been in the Semifinals twice. Both times the Gladiators he lost to went on and lost the Championship Battle. So the question is do you really want to face Degosfinest in the Semifinals? I would say no. Degosfinest is always in the mix and when the Head to Head battles start he brings a big crowd with him especially those lovelies from San Diego. Degosfinest is focused for this Battle Forum to finally give those beautiful ladies from San Diego something to cheer about. We think Degosfinest is one of the favorites to win Battle Forum V Championship.

ROYAL GLADIATORS
GRAMBUS-This Gladiator took the Battle Forum by storm in Battle Forum IV. It was one of the most dominating performances we have ever seen in the Battle Forum. Grambus beat a who's who of Gladiators to get to the Championship Round including Degosfinest and Thedeakon. It was his first Battle Forum and he made a lasting impression. Unfortunately for Grambus he wasn't ready for the mind games of the Masterone. So Grambus's dominating performing wilted in the face of Masterone's ultimate chess match mind game. That experience should bode well for Grambus because Battle Forum V will be the ultimate mind game. No rules means it's all out there. It's going to be a wild Tournament and Grambus plans on being right in the mix and you know what. This Gladiator will definitely be in the mix for the Battle Forum Championship. Grambus has learned his lesson from Battle Forum IV and we look for another dominating performance from this Gladiator.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE!
THE CHAMP IS HERE!
MASTERONE-He revolutionized the Battle Forum with a style we just haven't seen before in the Battle Forum. He actually became the first Battle Forum Champ to win with a losing record. How does that happen you say? Well Masterone mastered the format of Battle Forum IV which was baseball. He took mostly underdogs for huge wins. Once he got way ahead he would play favorites and when the other Gladiators started to catch up he would hit up the longshots again. It was a brilliant strategy and it worked perfectly and that's why Masterone is the Champ. That strategy is also the motivation for Battle Forum V rules. We figured since it's March Madness let's have total mayhem in the Battle Forum hence no rules meaning no minimums, no maximums. You can bet till your heart's content. It's a tip of the hat to Masterone so to speak. Masterone will get a 1st Round Bye per Battle Forum tradition. You don't want to be the Gladiator to finish in the last spot and have to face Masterone. Just consider it a Death sentence if you do. Masterone is seeking to do what he stopped Atlanta from doing in Battle Forum IV and that's Repeating. Can Masterone Repeat as Champ? I wouldn't bet against it that's for sure. Masterone is true to his name...a Master.
