So guys, if you really want to make $125K with a streak of picks, you can do it with a $10 investment by picking 16 straight wins (on games you choose, not those that Covers gives you on Streak Survivor). You can do it in 11 wins if you invest $100. This is assuming that all your picks pay at -110 and you are reinvesting the full winning amount.

Invest a $1000, and you will have $25K in 5 days.

It took me a year and a half to hit an 11 game streak, so I would have lost lots of $$$ investing $10 or $100 a day!

Depending on the sport, some Vegas books will take high bets in the $100K range. Obviously $8 million is not realistic, but I'm just making a point with respect to the value that Covers is offering here. The amount of publicity this type of scenario bring to the website is worth a lot. 

I thought why not start with a dollar and play my Covers streak for real? If I ever do get to 17-18 picks, that dollar will be worth $125K, long before the Covers 25 peak.

This is actually a decent idea.

For every covers streak you start, play it at a book and double down every bet you make.

I'm going to start a thread and track my progress from now on.

You should do the same as well autumn.

have tought of this aswell and many times have tried to run up 20-50 or 100 $ into 5 figures...yet to hit it thus far

This isn't a new idea and has been discussed many times in various forms here on Covers. The problem is most online books have $3-$5K limits. In Vegas or Reno you can get higher limits with permission IE Floyd Mayweather. I wouldn't trust a local bookie making large bets. I just don't see you getting paid if you win. For Vegas or Reno you would have to be there in person. I don't know about the East Coast Casinos.

Did you guys ever hear about this guy from England that bet $135,000 on one Roulette spin and won. He flew from England to Vegas to bet one spin. Incredible. His name was Ashley Revell.

To benefit from the streak, one would need to cash out a partial amount and then let the rest ride, as you never know when the streak ends. My highest streak on Covers has been 6 wins, so I'd probably start with $100 and let it ride to 5 before cashing some of it out. The option one has, of course, is to pick games that Covers does not list as well. Outside Covers, my streaks have been significantly greater.
