I have read a few articles on line regarding Canada going to single game wagering. Any one have new info. on this topic.

I doubt if it will happen , the government seems quite content on raking in the parlay card cash

It still has a long way to go, and proably will only be available at the casinos....

anyone know why the government is still holding out? Is it a country wide policy or some provinces have different strategies?

On the Westcoast they have gone from a 3 game minimum to a 2 game minimum, that's a step in the right direction. Have not heard anything about single game bets yet.
