I thought this might be a good place to post this since people come here to bet on Proline. Can someone explain, or provide a link explaining, whether it is legal or illegal for an Ontario resident to bet on sports online. I've been googleing for a while this morning and I can't find a straight answer.

It is illegal, there was a good write up in the toronto star that another poster suggested to read, I went and did a search, found it, was an interesting read, puts it all out there in black and white, worth the search, will answer all your questions regarding legalitity here in Ont.
