NFL Wild Card Weekend

Saints -10.5: watched as the Rams dropped pass after pass against the Seattle secondary. Brees and his boat load of talented receivers will decimate the NFC West champs. Kinda' like beating up the little kid and having his big brother come over and give ya' a proper thrashing.

Colts -2.5: Manning et al. by less than a field goal...I'm in.

Packers +2.5: Tough game to pick...I'm a little on the fence.

Well...all the stuff I'm reading - pretty good arugments for taking the Seahawks and the 11pts. Between the weather, injuries and the Saints ATS road record in out door stadiums, I'm leaning pretty hard to the Seahawks keeping within the number.

Thoughts?

 

have a live ticket needing Colts tie, Boldin most receptions (Bowe) and Eagles most sacks (great bet, imo.)...

I'm ready those same articles on the Gulls covering the spread, but I'm thinking of my New England play from last week... came off them late vs. Miami, and look what happened... maybe you should stick to your guns here just in principal?  Hedge a little?  Backdoor cover? Hassleback did pass for over 300 yards and 2 TD's against them earlier this year.

uh oh... Hassleback throws a BRUTAL pick leading to a 10-0 start halfway through 1st quarter.  I mean, his receiver had no chance of getting to the first down marker, throw it away...
