Texans -12.5 : line is up to -14 in most books. Rams are starting the backup to the backup at QB...I think he's some kid in grade 7. It looks as if a bunch of guys getting over the flu may be starting, notably S. Jackson, and I know it took me a week to get my motor running after a touch of the Swine a while back. Oh sure, his hyperbaric chamber and IVs may be a bit better than my coffee and cigarette cure, but I'm thinking that none of those dudes is going to be playing anywhere near 100% for four quarters.
The Bears travel plans got all f*cked up by the closing of the Baltimore airport, leaving them scrambling in the middle of the night etc....Looks as if the weather is going to be around 0 degrees Celcius and a bit wintery...seasonal stuff, nothing crazy once the legion of snow removal folks do their thing. So we get a Ravens team at home really needing a win, a Bears team eliminated from the playoffs, their only 3 wins in the last 10 games came against StL, Cle and Det, Cutler is a turnover machine, Bears run D sucks...Ravens -10.5 is a big number but I just don't see the Bears getting more than single digit pts.
