ALC NFL Week 9

...my early take on both of these games - I think we'll see GB score big and crush TB,  and see the Chargers beat the Giants SU.

hey car, 3 that reallly stand out to me for sunday right now are

steelecity...we're getting SF @ -3.5 so I'm liking that line a lot. Not sure about the Ravens though...not sure what we're going to see with the Bengals coming off a bye week.

so far, I'm seeing the BB of the week as GB -10.5 so I'm glad to see you're on that. Anyone see a stat or reason that GB doesn't pound the piss out of TB?

leaning Cowboys +2.5 to upset the Eagles.

car, i dont like the cowboys in that game. I think Eagles get the win. I liked what I saw from them after they played the giants last week. I know giants are struggling right now but philly looked awesome. Its the eagles -2.5 for me or no play.

steelecity...I think that's a game that could have strong arguments either way, and hopefully it'll be a good game to watch. Probably not going to be a huge bet for me...I may just go with the over and hope we see 7s all night long.

Agree with the Texans +10...should be a good shootout and I can see this going back and forth right to the end. Two scores is too much.

Being a huge giants fan and thoroughly disappointed with last weeks debacle not to mention the previous losses, I'd stay away from but thats just my bias. Seems that teams have figured out how to stop Jacobs and Manning and his receivers are out of sync.

early leans include the Eagles and Steelers, I/m also fading the broncos big time. this team IMO is way over rated. Back tomorrow with a write up for Sunday including the CFL.

crap...we're on the opposite side again, wmp...was just popping in to add Falcons -10.5

heres my 2 cents worth for NFL tomorrow.

first thoughts were to ride that Saints gravy train until the cows come home BUT at -13.5, I think theres better games to take. So first pick is the 49ers @ -3.5, second pick the Colts @ -9.5 and lastly the Cardinals @+2.5.

Other considerations

Chargers +4.5 (fading the Giants until I see something more concrete from Eli. Home field makes the score close)

Redskins +10.5 (not a great team but somehow manage keep the score close.)

CFL - Take the TigerCats +1.5  for 1 main reason, they have a QB

Taking another look at the Colts game I'm leaning Colts. The Texans are down a couple of TEs so that should affect their ability to get the ball down the field, especially if the Texans can't establish any kind of run.
Can't go with Wsh on the road to cover any number. Falcons are too solid at home and I think the Skins will be trying to play catch up all game.
One game I do like, that we haven't mentioned, is Seahawks -9.5...home game, off a bye...facing a really bad team...

Still on GB -9.5 for my BB.
