Vanzack, Do you ever bet on club fotball?

I'm not liking the France love to be honest. I see them flaming out of this tourney. Uruguay with 2 world class strikers and Mexico is playing fantastic, I like them to advance from this group. Other than that, I liked mostly everything else. I have my eye on Argentina maybe winning the whole thing too.

Well, the soccer forum is a pretty solid place, it would be nice to hear your views in here...  Then again, I only post plays in hockey despite betting baseball just as heavily, so, I hear ya lol...

I learned long ago that posting soccer plays is a tricky business - because line options can be so different and most people dont understand or cant manipulate the lines to get what they really want.  So I post side A +1, and I push - but get slammed by people who bet them on the ML - and examples similar to that.....

Ghana/Serbia? If Rio was the reason they beat either of them, then I over valued the side. A France/Greece/Nigeria or Uruguay, I think they still get by. Unless you really put France in that group, which I for one do not.

He could be out 4 weeks, that's  the semi's, and when they play their 1st "real team" IMO. Brazil or Holland.

Vanzack, question as I delve into this a little more.  I know you like the US not to advance.  Looks like those ods are around even, maybe +110.  Did you consider betting Slovenia to advance at +190 or so instead or maybe split those bets?  Or do you think Algeria has a decent chance?

I do think Algeria has a chance - and I think the 3 games between the US, ALgeria, and Slovenia are all about a toss up.   Slovenia at +190 is not a bad bet - I just chose to take them both instead of trying to decide between them  - although I would say Slovenia has a slightly better chance than Algeria to get through.

Also, Slovenia will be getting England on the last game - in a position where England might have already advanced and maybe even locked up the group.

So your Slovenia at +190 might be a play based on that alone.....

USA/Australia should be a good game in the friendly.pretty similar teams IMO.don't have the talent of some of these other nations but they are gutsy and hang in there which is why these two teams score big upset wins every now and then over there more favoured rivals.


Sometimes teams like Australia/USA cannot string more then 3 passes together,rely more so on never giving up then pure skill.
