The only reason is because of the Los Angeles teams ... Lakers, Clippers and Kings all playing ... The Staples Center is hosting 6 games in 4 days ... that is unprecidented!  Plus, they likely have concerts and crap too ... the fact that they can even shedule games in a reasonable timeline is amazing!  They play a home a basketball game during the day, take out the hardwood, put in ice and then play a hockey game later that day.  Anyway, I hear ya as far as the lameness but I am sure they (NBA, NHL and Stapes Center) weren't expecting all 3 teams to be playing home games this late into their respective seasons ... Athough the LA Kings underachieved in the regular season, they were a 7 seed and the Clips could have easily lost to Memphis.  I guess the Lakers and Clips will be done soon so ...

i think its every series this is happening too, y do the sixers/celtics need 2 off days to travel from philly to boston
