Bake, just an idea and totally understand if you never want to make this change;

What about getting 2+ plays per week? Every other POD thread in other forums usually allow you 1 play per day (obviously baseball, basketball, and hockey have games every day).  Even NFL usually get a pick on Thur, Sun, and Mon if applicable.  Just a thought because I know personally it's demoralizing to stay disciplined in this contest when you only get 1 pick per week, seems like either you swing for the fences or have to really chip away.

Anyways, just a thought. Thanks again for hosting this event regardless of any changes you make, you make this forum go.

We will have to nip and tuck this Contest to make it even more attractive and enjoyable.

Im not sure a mid year rule change would be prudent, but ironically, last year we were concerned that -500 should be lowered, but now we are seeing the opposite... home run derbies each week.

I dont have the spare time like "willbetanything" to do daily updated contests.  It takes me about 1.5 hr each sunday night to research the score results, cut and paste, update each players record and total, and then realign their ranking.

Not complaining, because I really enjoy. But I agree we could use one more "wrinkle" to make it more of a running contest.

PM me if you have more thoughts bro.

1) If Covers set it up like one of their Pools where players could log in and make their own DAILY picks, and the software updated everything at the end of each day, it would look more professional, it would be more streamlined, and it would be more competitive.

Quite honestly, I think many posters simple forget during the week to post a play.
