Piss poor WC thus far…

seems like once it’s tie. They don’t give a damn anymore and both teams just pay tower defence. So freaking boring unlike Germany and USA

World Cup has been great, totally disagree draws are apart of the game just like a win or a loss is. A game doesnt need a winner to be declared a good game... International football is totally different in comparison to the premier league or champions league so expecting box office stuff in every game is just not realistic. Teams are not going to go all out in a group stage that can be tricky if you lose the opening game. Just give the tournament time to get going, first round can be tricky while teams find themselves and feel out opponents.

 agree 100%--in international football when you have only 3 prelimary matches getting the point can be valuable--it still provides for exciting football plus this is not Bundesliga in April-you get humid midsummer weather! Sure Brazil in 2014 was a high-scoring World Cup along with 2022, but you gotta learn to like draws and unders betting this!

First round of the group stage are usually played tighter as most teams are more than fine settling for a point historically. You can easily make a case that most of these games have played out exactly as they should outside of the Spain game.

I will add that Uruguay wasted a huge chance in not playing a full 90 and waited until Saudi scored to even try. One of those teams is going to regret not getting a win in that matchup.

second round matchups are usually more open especially with the higher ranked teams wanting to get a handle of the group.

Take the Spain game for example. That was probably one of the best goaless draws I have ever seen. It was exciting from start to finish and not a single goal scored. I dont think people are really comprehending how great of a feat it is for a tiny nation like Cape Verde to shut out Spain. It's almost unheard of at this level of football & to top it off their goal keeper, Vozinha had less than 50K followers on Instagram - after winning Man of the Match he is on the verge of surpassing 10 million followers. Hard not to love this game. 

Piss Poor take! Don't need a winner to be an exciting game. The only games that have been piss poor are the Germany and Sweden blow outs.
