I’m not sure if you guys are aware of this incredible coincidence, but back in 2007, a charity raffle was organized in Barcelona. The prize? A chance to feature in a calendar photoshoot with a rising 20-year-old Lionel Messi.
As destiny would have it, the baby randomly chosen for the shoot was none other than an infant Lamine Yamal.
Fun Fact: The famous photo of Messi bathing baby Lamine was taken for a charity calendar organized by the Spanish newspaper Diario Sport and UNICEF. Talk about an accidental passing of the torch!
