Argentina has been riding a wave of good luck, emotion and poor opposition coaching strategies to get to this moment.
That wave crashes into a rugged, unforgiving Spanish shoreline today.
De La Fuente knows how to coach. He will man-mark Messi because that is how to beat this team. Tuchel should watch and learn. La Roja will wear Mesdi down and frustrate La Albiceleste ALL DAY LONG.
Spain defense never loses shape. They will be patient in a low scoring game … and strike suddenly with Oyarzabal and/or a late substituting and rested Merino.
2-0 España, ladies.
Don’t waste time thinking.
