Cd appreciate it. wont hit everything. just avoid the juice & parlays. the worst thing any beginner can do is heavy dependency on stats, this isnt a stat-driven sport. WCI ahhh, there you are. brought your lady with you still? now my thread looks MUCH better. hope all is well my friend and staying safe/healthy. Cody, what Atalanta is/has doing is forcing everyone else in Serie A to adapt. clubs tend to copy success. remember back in the early part of last decade Juve grabbed Pirlo, put up a brick wall in the back with that attitude of 'if-you-dont-concede-youll-never lose'. everyone adjusted. now Atal on their way to hitting 3-digits with goals. everyone adjusting to keep up. regarding that UCL, many dont like that proposed format at all. bigwigs and tv rights should have just eaten their losses ditched that altogether & hit the reset button next year. these 3-per-week scheds are killing these teams. transfer session going to be a circus. BigD i like how you mention "celebrate". sorrow? yes, of course. but that is spot on.
just getting a point might have costed ManU millions. got the friendly and Serie C blew up. should have listened to self with Parma, no europe = summer firesale in Naples.
take care and GL to all

I’m staring hard at Juve vs Udinese today. Udinese have a bunch of injuries in the midfield and Ronaldo likely wants goals. The line with my book is dropping lol. How long has it been since Juve lost or drew with Udinese? Always appreciate your insight spec!

Udinese have won only one of their last 15 games against Juventus – a 1-0 win in August 2015.
Juventus have won their last five games against Udinese in the league, scoring 17 goals, and conceding just four.
Maurizio Sarri and Luca Gotti have met just twice in their careers. Sarri has won both of these games.
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 30 goals this season along with Lazio’s Ciro Immobile – a feat that has been achieved by only two other players in the last 60 years of Serie A, Gonzalo Higuain and Luca Toni.
It took Ronaldo 61 games to reach 50 goals in the Serie A, becoming the quickest ever to achieve that tally.
Udinese vs Juventus Head-to-Head
The meetings between the two sides have been high-scoring fixtures, with 21 goals being scored in the last six encounters. In the 91 times, these sides have clashed in the Italian top-flight, Juventus have won 62 times, Udinese have been victorious in 12 matches while 17 games ended in a draw.
The Old Lady have a five-game winning streak against the hosts and produced a brilliant display in the reverse fixture earlier this season to inflict a 3-1 loss over Udinese at the Allianz Stadium, with Ronaldo netting a brace.
Since the Serie A restart in June, I Friulani have won only once and are winless at home since January. On the other hand, Juventus have lost only once.

well, Inter & Atalanta both put up clunkers, we'll see what Lazio does later.
Udinese/Juventus btts @evens - worth a small play with this lineup in the back.
Doc, they arent "officially" out of it yet, i mean, Milan still has Atalanta & Roma visit our backyard in the season-ender. so theres chances to gain ground but dropping all 3 last night had to have hurt. mentioned back in Nov where Insignes name was dangled out there on market briefly. as an owner, you DONT play mind-games like that with the face of your organization. word has it Mertens wont stay and Koub staying would be career suicide. when the big boys of the EPL and Spain cometh calling.... at least listen. put a gun to my head and i say "firesale". we'll see. Leggo hardly ever play the side with Juve, as most familiar with thy threads know; on paper? OF COURSE I hope we win. I also have a decent chunk of change on Christian to win the Capp @175 so banging in a few wont hurt. but the fact of the matter is we are 6 pts clear with 4 remaining. a point tonight makes it 7, theres no need to go all out. i dont expect them to, not on 3 days on the road after Lazio. Udine is dangerously close to the drop line so should at least see some effort. to me, the only thing worth taking as mentioned is christian and PK props. just wanted to mention one thing which is worth discussing, regarding line movement; I dont pay attention to it unless its blatant. a .30 - .40 move means SQUAT in futbol. glance at the opening lines and work your way from there. arrgy with the exception of the H2H's all those stats are meaningless to the match BEING PLAYED TONIGHT. Sarri doesnt give a d*mn whom is standing there 20 metres from him, perhaps with the exception of Conte. and this is "Post-Covid", empty stadiums, 3-game per week grind. come back next year with stats. Twenty theyre on auto-fade. same with Benev, hit a biggie with them winning the title with a month to spare and just need to season to finish. Livorno? same thing, different reason, "officially" relegated i think the round after the restart and all sorts of sorts broke loose down there.

jdukes appreciate it. hope all is well with you. but tone that down a little nothing 'great' (or would you like me to go back and dig out some of thy chunk-blowing sessions. theres plenty back there) joking aside, not taking anything away from Udine but that was our "throw away" game. as mentioned above, we looked tired; honestly thought it'd end level. and when Sarri announced the lineups putting in Rugani to replace Bonucci i posted that small play on the btts above. when hes in there its always an adventure. Lazios 15 minutes of brilliance after the break ruined the under so split the evening. will post some thoughts below.
as recently mentioned to a few buddies, had been wondering when that "wall" would hit Serie A. (im pretty sure this has been the same thing for all those other leagues) if anything, this recent Round 35 has taught me, Gone is the excitement of the restart, jostling for table positioning. Scudetto title, european slots, relegation battles all "unknown". fast-forward a few weeks later with this horse(bleep) schedule and that picture has become much clearer for everything (except mid-table**). but also, this 3-match/6-day grind has simply been TOO much, and throw in empty stadiums and its become mentally NUMBING for the players (it sure is while watching). a key indicator of tiredness are seeing these long-range bombs/missiles being attempted from outside the box. saw that a LOT the past few days - and not just the Juve match. the pace has slowed to a crawl in pretty much every match. have a nice future with Bologna to finish 10th, 2 weeks ago there were just 2 other clubs which had been keeping watch on; fast forward and now theres 8 in that logjam. fyi, a popular "thing" with Serie A is a LOT of these players/teams have fat contract bonus' if finish in the top half of the table. so on paper (at face value) it might appear as if these teams have nothing to play for, fatal mistake when capping. but this all has been shot to h*ll having to play 6 games in under 18 days. no one has maintained any kind of consistency, hence... that logjam in the middle. and with things pretty much ironed out all around for next season, dealing with motivation has become a cr*pshoot. will put up wknd in a bit.

Spec dropping by like i said I would....after reading your post about how this 3 match 6 day grind is taking a toll on the players. What really sucks for Juve and Napoli is they both have to continue this grind up until the Champs game with seemingly no good opportunities to get a good few days rest like the other clubs will have leading up to those final matchups. Will definitely be something I consider when capping those champ league games. Just hope this end of season grind doesn't take too much out of them, but I fear it will

Cody, pardon for the delay. someone on this forum needs to learn to fact check before posting. ehhhh
anyways.........
Round 36: already had this written ... Milan/Atalanta - had thoughts on Milan whom opened a shade below 200s; toss that out the window as thy Juve threw Bergamo-boys a lifeline. 6 pts is still a stretch, but hey a 'w' here and cut it in half before our match even starts. this is a team whom advanced thru the UCL after losing their 1st 3, so 6-pts is "do-able" in their minds. however........... Had this been a 'normal' season, that over would be an auto-play; but Id advise to dial it down a little with the risk. Milano have big problems on Friday, not only is their captain - and best defender - out injured, but #2 back there + Bennacer (key MF) are out as well as 3 other regulars. Rebic & Zlat are useless if no one there to feed them the ball. Pioli looks like he's planning to clog the middle and muck the game down. which is probably the smart thing to do anyways vs this Bergamo side. for Atalanta, this is LITERALLY their 3rd match in under 6 days (actually BOTH these teams), silly-crazy. Atalanta destroyed them 5-0 earlier, but ignore that, Milans entire front-line was out. Juves loss might provide some motivation, and Atalanta have yet to play with their full-strength (aka UCL lineup) since the restart. but Milano too has Napoli breathing down their neck for that final european slot. toss in Milans massive problems in the back and 200+ pricetag suddenly doesnt look good. but I am not backing a "roadie" playing their 3rd in 6 days, melon wont let me. nor am I thrilled of backing a home side missing 3/4 of their backline. PASS. *** this isnt exactly a 'road' game for Atalanta *** prices on the O/U are cr*p, 3.5 near evens might we worth a small play but Ill take a stab at this prop: over 1.5 goals each half @+245, figured if that 3.5 hits then theres a pretty d*mn good chance this hits as well. my recent O3.5 last round ended up scoreless, hoping for an improvement.
My remaining Round 36 plays (minus the encyclopedic writeups) Bologna/Lecce BTTS + over 2.5 @-130 SPAL/Torino over 1.5 @-105 (2nd half) Ronaldo 2+ @+175 - weve won just ONCE in past 5; Scudetto-clincher @home, and Sarri just tore into them last night. Napoli -1 @+102 (strong play) - if Milan lose on Friday Ill take the HT/FT as well. euro slot + Gatt getting some key players back + Sass being brutal in Naples. Cagliari to win @+305 giving me 300s for this???? - Udine:1) clinched their stay in Serie A 2) Juve Hangover 3) 800+km flight 2.5 days rest across country furthest for any two clubs. nasty nasty spot. nice value.
Serie B: Frosinone to win @+110, -1 @+150 (previously posted) Cremonese/Spezia draw @+190 Trapani/Pescara over 2.5 @-102

Cody ehhh. nice little turnaround to end the wknd tho.
JUVENTUS!!!!!!! another title. these never grow old; especially when you can remember where we USED to be. but this year the celebration much much quieter. just doesnt feel right to celebrate something which in reality is much more meaningless from whats gone on. over in the EPL, its been the year of the 'J's" for me I guess. thank you Jamie, thank you Jurgen, and "almost" Jesus. and hit the big one with the Foxes. crazy season though.
