Wednesday Euro....

Portugal surely have to beat Hungary.  Portugal is leading the tournament in almost every offensive category except goals scored.  They need a win here - and will get it - I am not going to lay the goal line but just take a win.  Portugal -220 (win 1.5 units)

Iceland +.5 -127 (1 unit) - I was one of the people big on Austria - but you have to know when to jump ship.  They have just absolutely sh*t the bed so far - and I see no reason for that to change against an Iceland side that will go thorugh with a draw.  Iceland will defend all game and counter as Austria get more and more desperate.

Belgium -118 (2.5 units) - Belgium will continue to hit their stride here.  Sweden are in a must win and that is not to their style - and will be chasing this game all over the place.  I think Belgium have finally figured out that Fellaini is not the answer - and will hopefully once again find himself on the bench.

Ireland / Italy no bet

Almost every heavyweight is on one side - and the other side really will have Croatia, Poland, Switerland, Wales, 2 third place teams - and the winner of Group F (Portugal, Iceland, Hungary) and runner up of Group E (likely Begium).

The other side has Italy, Spain, France, England, Germany, 2 third place teams - and runner up group F (portugal, iceland, Hungary).  If portugal ends up on this side - it gets even more lopsided than it already is.

Italy has clinched the top of their group already. They are playing Spain in the first knockout round. 

I'd be tempted to not play him. Hungry young guys > highly paid superstars.

I realize Poland has only scored two goals - and that is a worry for me.  This is a great matchup for Poland.  Swiss defense should get pushed back all game.

Really?  Come on.  I realize the obvious here - but the group stages are over, where everyone plays conservatively.  An early goal will certainly help things - but there has to be at least 2 goals in this one.

Just like the poland / swiss game - this is a great matchup for Croatia.  Portugal will get frustrated with the Croatian possession - and the midfield will break down the sloppy defense of Portugal.
