England should be able to handle Wales but I dont like the price, and the game will be a huge emotional game for both sides. Pass.
N Ireland / Ukraine - Ukraine -148 (1 unit) - small bet here on Ukraine. At some point N Ireland is going to have to go forward and try to score, and even if they dont - I will take my chances that Ukraine will be able to break them down once or twice.
Poland / Germany over 2.5 -120 (1 unit) - small bet here also. 2-1 Germany final.
Worried about a line move in Fridays Croatia / Czech match - I am already in on Croatia -120 for 3.5 units.

You don't think Germany will be determined to keep defensive errors to the minimum and basically play a safe game?
Due to the 'tournament considerations' this really feels like a 0-0 HT, 1-0 FT type game.
Poland should know better than trying to open up and challenge the favorite; playing it safe and getting a point here (and then a point vs Ukraine) seems like a pretty damn good strategic plan.

I think you're spot on here. It should be the game plan for both sides to play a rather safe game.

Van, nice win by Slovakia on some pretty goals. Thoughts on the future group victory for Slovakia you had placed? Think they can win it?
It is certainly interesting again after thinking it was a total lost cause after the Wales loss.
With England winning today - it is a simple formula - Slovakia has to beat England and Wales has to draw or lose to Russia. I would say that parlay is around 8-1 or so - which was the original cost of the bet.
Still a longshot but priced fairly at this point I would guess.

I can't dispute your thoughts - only provide another alternative....
Both sides have 3 points. Poland is in a position where they can play their game - which is a wide open style. Germany - if they have a weakness - is on defense.
An early goal here will open it up - as usual with totals in soccer - the time of the first goal is critical.
