I remember being at the bedside of a close friend a few years ago. Cancer was taking another victim at the age of 49.

Taking away a mother from her girl before her 17th birthday. We always talked in jest about politics at BBQ's and pool parties. It was amazing how it took the death of a loved one  to put all the BS aside and grieve. 

Oh Boy DJ, I get it, I know it, I hate myself like this. But the thing is this, this is almost beyond politics now. This disgusting, lying, narcissist has broken this country apart at the seems.  This is no longer me and my friends arguing about Bush and Reagan and such things, and shaking hands at the end of the night...see you tomorrow, same time, same place. Did you see what happened on Jan.6. 2021? Did you view that as peaceful? and so much love there?  It's not just one thing, it's a thousand things. Up all night, posting insults and bullying people, making fun of their heritage and appearance. bragging about how great he is, and how he is #1 on tic tac...yes he said tic tac. (and Taylor Swift is #11!!)  I can't help myself  from reacting to it. 

          Thanks for the clarity man, it means a lot, especially from someone that I have the upmost respect for. Love the Specials, thanks for sharing. It is a bit ironic considering the context of all of this.  The Specials...anti-racist, anti-fascist, a band that championed black and white unity, and were outspoken in their disgust of the far right.  How do you think they perceive MAGA?
