CPL SEASON 31 Rules & Standings thread

BASIC RULES

* 2 points for a win, 1 point each for a draw
1 point bonus for being +ROI for the week

*Home field advantage- visiting team must have play in no later than 11:59 EST on Saturday. Failure to do so will lead to a -100 penalty. Visiting team may NO LONGER  make a wager to be graded for that week.

*First come first served- once an opponent has made a wager on a particular match, you may no longer use same match to play on

* please post plays using the following criteria

*all games cancelled/postponed/abandon will count as a push

*all plays are to risk one unit (+100)

*Odds on plays are to be what they were AT THE TIME play is posted and not from a betting exchange.

*top 5 bonus points for overall ROI totals

In this season we are going with 8 teams playing a home and away format. The bottom side will be relegated where as the 6th placed team will host the 7th place in a further relegation playoff. The top side will get a bye to a two legged championship playoff. The team in second will host the 3rd place finisher with the winner going into the championship playoff. 

Prizes and Incentives

Any team having an immaculate season going 14-0 shall be awarded 100$ US

Any team having an immaculate +ROI weekly season shall be awarded 100$ US

CPL Champion (with a positive ROI that includes the playoffs) shall be awarded 100 US

Once a week (14 plays) each team may post a prop play with an odds range of -500/+500. 

The top 3 prop play standings shall also receive bonus points to add to their point total

3 points for 1st place,  2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd.

FAIR PLAY 

We are all people that love the beautiful game. Lets keep Politics and Religion out of the CPL. Life is too short to hate anything. It also does not cost anyone anything to be kind. Good Luck this season and lets see some winners.
