Mexico scored but were offside on a set-piece.  The call was way too close to call; if they didn't blow the whistle no one would've said a word.

Moment of truth now.  Seems like 1-0 will be final but will Uruguay let in a sneaky / cheap goal to avoid TINA?

I've got to quit trying to think outside the box. These players/teams never do. This feels like a situation in American football where you need to let the other team score but teams never do. I still think I should have stole it. Nobody was offsides on that Mexico goal. Congrats Uruguay backers

Paraguay & Brasil both need at least a draw in last groupmatch vs Venezuela and Ecuador to reach quarterfinals. Venezuela are in quarterfinal before last match vs Paraguay, Ecuador need to win Brasil if they want a place in quarterfinal.

Be carefully with betting in those matches, many strange lowscore results in tournement so far. After Uruguay win 1-0 Mexico tonight they will meet Argentina in quarterfinal so personally I do not think Paraguay and Brasil cares about witch team they meet in next round, who knows perhaps both play and search after draw-result in last groupmatch

 

Urine-guay is going to get pissed on Saturday. Forlan is worthless, can't finish anymore. 

It was disgusting for URU backers like myself, but let's not forget that Forlan was still getting a ton of open looks for himself and his teammates. I mean URU could have won 4-0 easily today, you know that, you watched the game. But the recency effect will be strong with most of the betting public, and if a lot of people are thinking like this, then URU will get a nice discounted price in their first knockout game
