Real bettable line (betfair, pinnacle) is about -118.

Maybe not a play on the draw but a play on the under with a similar angle to your Chile / Peru bet is more what I would lean after more thought.

While we're on the subject (I know it's far away), have you looked ahead at all to the Euro 2012 yet?  I took a peak at the futures the other day and had a few long-shots lightly circled (Portugal, Ukraine, Sweden, Greece)

It is definitely on my radar - I am going to be there - and have been keeping close eye on qualifying.

But until groups are drawn and qualifying is done - I dont start looking for capping angles.  Those 4 teams should be LONGshots RIGHT NOW - all 3 are in a battle for qualification and are by no means locks to even make the tournament.  Ukraine should be tough at home - but they always have lapses at the back.

Qualification ends in mid October - and then the draw is in Dec I think.

You have a year to plan to go to Poland / Ukraine - get on it covers posters!  We could have a meetup there for the games.

Yeah that was my feeling. One of the drawbacks of playing with a local with a website -- terrible, terrible lines on a lot of these games. After having played with 5dimes and BetJam for many years, it pains me to have to lay the type of juice I do because I know it effects my bottom line significantly. But, at this point, its really the only out that I have that I trust I can get paid on a prompt basis and not have to worry about my funds.

Damn that wrestlemania / 5dimes schenanigans!

King Kong Bundy is going to cost you a lifetime of reduced juice.

Tell me about it Van. There are definite days where I think that I should just go back to 5dimes for reduced juice if nothing else. It is easy to stand on principle when you don't fully comprehend the type of juice you will have to regularly lay otherwise. 5dimes has said I can come back if I reimburse them for the winnings they paid out that they thought were illegitimate, so the door isn't shut for me to ever return but (and maybe this is just me being paranoid) I don't know if I could ever truly feel "safe" at that shop after all that drama.

Qualification ends in mid October - and then the draw is in Dec I think.

You have a year to plan to go to Poland / Ukraine - get on it covers posters!  We could have a meetup there for the games.

I'm working on it, don't worry.

I agree they are long shots; they are just teams that I think have enough to talent to make a run and are a little undervalued.  The top 3 teams in this tournament are head and shoulders in my opinion (Spain, Germany, Holland) and the only one carrying any value at all is the latter IMO.

    Welcome to squaresville, population Vanzack.

In short, Peru and Chile both benefit from a draw.  Neither side will benefit from an all out offensive attack - I see something very similar to what we have seen all tournament - lots of defensive play with nobody in a big rush to do anything - even if a goal is scored, this really should be a go through the motions type of game.

Uruguay is so obvious, that it is so obvious I will be kicking myself afterwards - but I cant resist.  Uruguay, in an absolute must win - against under 23 Mexico?  Sorry, but I cant get off of that one.

I have not read it.  But I did read the synopsis on the link, and like everything, I have an opinion on diet and weight loss....

Weight loss is a simple equation, calories = weight loss or gain.

It is that simple.  Reduce calories, lose weight.  Eat 2000 calories of cake a day - you will lose weight faster than eating 2200 calories of broccoli a day (assuming similar excercise).

All diets, and diet books - give easy answers to a very difficult lifestyle choice - one that most cant make - and one where they are willing to exchange money for a potential secret easy way.

When you have as many overweight people as we have, and people who are willling to take their money, you end up with tons of different diets.  My book would be one page, and would say the following:

    EAT LESS, MOVE MORE.

I used to be really heavy, so I know the struggle.  Im not one of those skinny fucks who can eat anything and stay skinny.  I struggle all the time.

Correlation does not mean causation.  I am not a believer in this philosophy even if it does work.  You can eat more calories if you eating the right calories and be much healthier; regardless of your weight.

With that being said, EAT LESS, MOVE MORE, I can't argue with that.

I would say nobody has ever won an intl tournament by averaging just over one goal a game (maybe when Greece won the Euro's - gotta check on that).

It should be the same story for Euro2012.

This is pretty much the same team, with many of the players nearing decline but still head and shoulders above 80% of other top teams.

Spain should be motivated to go for a World Cup/ European Cup double. Apparently, Betfair agrees. Half the money matched on this market is bet on Spain, currently at +300, and no action to speak of at prices longer than +400.

By the way, does anyone know *when* +400 was last available (on betfair or elsewhere) for Spain to win it next year?

Again, I don't expect you to answer this, but how do you still bet at Pinnacle? Is it because you were an existing customer before they axed the US players?

Sorry if I'm getting too personal.

Spain is clearly the team to beat.

I think the lack of action on betfair is simply because they are only about 2/3rds of the way through qualifying.  Hard to cap at this point.

Sorry if I'm getting too personal.

No need to apologize, legit question....

Pinnacle is not a particpant in my arrangement.  I have spoken here many times (even very recently) about what is needed to get a pinnacle, betfair, neteller, MB account.  Anyone who wants to can do it, but there are considerations.

If you need me to repeat it here, I can , juts dont want to type it out if not necessary.

I have looked in past threads to try and find it but it only lets me go into your history to a certain length.

I know you said no need but I do apologize for asking but can you link me to your explanation? If not maybe direct me in the right way? If not I would really appriciate how you went about it because I am looking for a new online book (I do know how you feel about the state of online betting). Again if you don't want to no hard feelings what-so-ever.

    Thanks again in advance Vanzack
