Hey guys Know it’s a long shot, but my previous book is no longer up and running and was hoping someone can point me in the direction of a legitimate book. I’m located in Southern California so the online options aren’t a thing for me. I’d prefer someone local but am open to all options if legit. I wager 2-6k a game and always square up In time, I can provide all my personal info as well for safety. If you can put me in contact please reach out. Feel free to text me 949 204 8193

No one takes credit any more. You are going to deposit money no matter what. Even locals sub out their office to websites. Gone are the days of dropping quarters in a payphone and calling an office. You have to be online.
Online options are totally an option in SoCal.
Sports gambling is legal in the USA.
If you're worried about getting stiffed why look for a local book maker?
Go to Kalshi or Fanduel and be done with it
Since you already posted this in a now deleted post and handle, you honestly sound like you're desperate and looking to take a shot, if ya know what I mean.
Before you get banned again why so insistent on a local when you have so many easy options at your fingertips? You obviously use the internet.
open a bank account and don't tell the wife and use that to fund Kalshi or Fanduel. Make sure statements are electronic and don't go to the house if you are hiding from a wife.
Just my 4 cents since I already gave you .02 cents a few days ago when you first asked

im not sure about socal, but lots of dealers in card rooms up here have connects to bookies. But, they won’t refer you unless they have some kind of friendship with you. When I say cardroom, I mean the smaller casinos targeted to locals. Not the big ones like Pechanga or any Vegas style casino.
Most books I know won’t take clients that have no connection to them or their friends/family. The fear is that you will skip out and they wont be able to find you.
