    1. Pearce is the future no.7 for NSW, i was on the hate train when he started his career but he has proved me wrong.

    2. Don't know if Soward has done enough to keep the no.6? Maybe if Carney has a good few weeks he will get the job.

    3. Dugan is the right fullback. Maybe he made a few mistakes but give him a few games and he will be an origin star.

    4. Jennings and Gasnier are booked in for game 2.

    5. I really think NSW need to swap Ennis for Farah. Much better attacking option.

    6. Jason King has got 2 go.

    7. Brett Morris????

    8. Hayne needs a wing spot. Maybe swap him for Morris.

Agree with all but the farah call. Ennis was very good.

Morris was poor and has to make way for hayne.

I thought Pearce and Soward were both ineffective last night. The difference in quality between Thurston & Lockyer's kicking game and ours was massive. I can't recall one good attacking kick, and too many NSW clearing kicks hit Boyd, Slater and Yow Yeh on the chest. Problem is, there is no one else really putting their hand up. Mullen continues to struggle to put a consistent month of form together. When in form, he's the best kicker in the comp. But he's not in form. Carney's kicking game is no better than the two incumbents. If we had a better kicking game last night we probably win.

Soward was picked for his kicking game and he didn't kick well.

Dugan deserves to keep his spot.

Agree. Gasnier didn't do much, but Idris should not be allowed within 10 feet of a centre spot.

Farah or Gidley if fit could fill the hooking role off the bench if they stick with Young.

    6. Jason King has got 2 go.

Gone. 4 hitups for 25m - you can't carry a prop with those numbers.

    7. Brett Morris????

Don't get me started. If he bats the ball dead who knows how the game would have ended. Qld weren't throwing that much at us inside our 20m and NSW online defence was quite good. Hayne should be picked on the wing, but you get the impression Stuart doesn't like him.

QLD's kicking game was much better than ours because our forwards got bashed. Our kickers were always kicking off the back foot, wheer as Thurston, Locky and Smith were always kicking with plenty of room in front of them.

Morris has to go for Hayne.

I would be very happy for Mullen to come in for Soward.

King must make way for Keith Galloway.

No need for Dean Young. Bring in an impact player off the bench....Someone who can create form nothing or big impact like an Idris or Luke Lewis.

Drop Young, Ennis, Morris, Scott, King and if one of the halves, would have to be Soward.

Lewis is a must, should start in front of Scott. Mullen for Soward (as you couldn't play Soward and Mullen as Soward will keep trying to push Mullen out of the way at halfback). Mullen and Pearce have played together, albeit at Australian schoolboys level.

    Hayne for Morris.

Gidley for Young and Farah or Hinchcliffe for Ennis. Farah has failed everytime he has played Origin, so I'm not convinced he's the answer.

TLL, Weyman, Hunt, Galloway, Houston, anyone for King.

As per 4. above - If their was a better centre who could take Gasnier's spot, I'm open. Did he pass the ball to Uate once? Uate and Jennings were the only two NSW backs who looked like causing Qld problems.

Oh, and Ennis should be sacked for life for that idiotic kick from dummy-half on the 4TH TACKLE which not one other NSW player knew was on - when we were in front.

Why the retard always feels the need to try and be a playmaker is beyond me. He can't kick and shouldn't be allowed to kick.

He does that shit every origin game. He was a liability in defence as well.

NSW will never win a series with him at dummy-half.

Agree if Gidley is fit he would make a perfect no.9.

Maybe they will chuck Gidley in at 5/8 and play the left footed Farah.

Agree Idris shouldn't be starting but he needs a spot on the bench for sure.

We just need forwards that are going to make metres.. We need some grunt about us.. Jason king has to be dropped i really think leeroy lars is a certainty for next game..

Luke lewis, Idris and Hayne all have to find places in that team some how i believe.. I think Gids will be a straight swap for dean young who really had no impact last night.. If sticky is going to start ennis from the bench then he has the the run hooker then he needs to play farrah if ur looking for that spark.. IMO.

I really dont think that game can be really judged on Soward.. There was no go forward from a front row.. All game from the backs . Gallen, scott are just machines.. Our wingers were making more metres up the middle then our forwards..

I wouldnt put Idris in the centres to replace Gasnier. Idris has massive issues reading defenses on his try line. Thurston , Locky and Inglis will eat him alive,

While Gasnier got smashed in attack, he was very solid in defense. QLD didnt score any tries on his side.

Ennis always drives me crazy when he feels the need to kick before the 5th. We always complain about it in bulldogs forums. However, he did throw the pass to Bird for the 1st try. While it didnt look like much, it was a nice, hesitation / face pass which allowed Bird to make the move he did. Very subtle.

IMO, Mullen / Carney for Soward, Hayne for Morris, Galloway for King and Gidley for Dean Young.

We arent far behind them, they had all the ball, all the calls, all the bounces and they had to rely on the last 10 mins of the game to win.

Furthermore, a number of debutants will be better for the run.

Inglis will be back, but as long as Gasnier is there i am very very comfortable.

NSW will probably open up around $2.00 i reckon for the Sydney game. Stuff the over under, i will be all over NSW at that price.

It will go to a decider with Locky playing his last Origin game and the media will build it up similar to when man was about to land on the moon for the 1st time.

Soward was picked for his kicking game and hardly kicked.

    Was this sticky's plan?

Ennis should be dropped. He has played 4 origins too many.

No room for him or Young. Creagh is wasted on the bench, so if he doesn't start he should go as well.

I agree with your comments re the forwards, they were terrible. They should all watch tapes of Matt Scott and take notes.

I pretty much agree with you

No way they let NSW shit on Lockyer's parade at Suncorp though.

3 big calls went against us last night - imagine the refs in game 3 if it's 1-1

Yep fair enough call there on gasiner.. Even though he was defending a guy with 1 arm .. I guess NSW should of peppered Tonga abit more in hindsight with boyd rushing off the line every time and the bloke tackling with 1 arm. Bring on game 2..

    Agreed.

Mullen at 6 for now but if Todd can show some form in the coming weeks he has to play. he has x factor about him. Gaz was good on D and they will need that with GI coming back. Kurt will be well put in this team off the bench and need tommy in the front row.

Does anyone on here know anything about league? There is no halves comination in the comp that could of won with the front rowers we haved. 24 and 40 metres for them? Are you fucking joking?

Gasnier constanly got the ball flat and with defenders on top of him. Nothing he can do. He was very good in defence. When you watch the Dragons play, they give him quality ball; hence the reason for his great form this year.

Our problem is the front rowers and the bench. Sticky has no idea and is not going to change the team which is sad.

Soward was basically brought into the team to kick the ball, yet Mitchell Pearce tries to stamp his authority on the game and show he is the dominant half, stole the ball and showed everyone how bad his kicking game is. He is useless.

    1. Dugan
    2. Hayne (sorry Morris. We love you a club level, but you are useless at rep level)
    3. Jennings
    4. Gasnier
    5. Uate
    6. Soward
    7. Mullen
    8. Leroyd Lars
    9. Hinchcliff
    10. Mannah
    11. Scott
    12. Lewis
    13. Gallen

    14. Farrah
    15. Snowden
    16. Galloway
    17. Bird

There is no point playing Creagh if he is not starting, and sorry mate, Lewis > you.

That team will win us 6 in a row.

Post #10 & 11 - I said the front row was fucking rubbish.

For the record, I pretty much agree with your side. I don't rate Mannah as a starting Origin prop though

    Can you fucking read?
