Pick: Storm -7.5
Reason: Storm @ home is always a solid pick and i favor them to get out of the blocks quick this week. The Rabbits looked good last week but the chooks are no STORM. The super 4 of Cronk,Slater, Smith and now Widdop will the the bunnies pack running all day. i definitly see more than a try in this and wouldn't be surprised to see the storm start there home campain with a solid DD win.

Like the reasoning here. Only question is can the Storm forwards give the go forward for the superstars as the Rabbits forwards are huuugge and playing very well.

If Storm don't cover for you I'll buy a sixer of Monteiths this week to help the NZ economy!

Pick: Warriors ML
Reason: Now i am an EELS fan BUT more so a WARRIORS one. No Hindy or Burt  has me Ticking the warriors box for sure. Warriors will continue to tease us all year but this is one where they can get out and not look back. I see points here and split on both sides. The Warriors had Manly last week and looked very good but loose hands and  ill timed errors saw them drop the opener. The Eels has Brissy and were stomped on BAD, they had there moments  but the Warriors are a top 4 team and i see the EELs fighting this season to not hold the spoon.

Hurrell and Vatuvei will peal apart the eels backline and the warriors forwards will expose the front pack with a lack of HINDY present. but it all wont be smooth sailing for the NZ squad as Hayne will pose problems and i see the young gunner SIO stepping up.

All in All who ever takes the place of hindy will not match his awareness and even though hindy tends to help finish tackles off, his experience of stopping the offloads will be sorely lost. SJ and KL will be very close to the ruck on offence all day looking to take a cheeky one for 6.

Pick: Warriors ML "DEJA VU"
Now, again i am a Warriors so some BIAS is involved. Warriors @ home are always a tough nut to crack and the weather should hold out till early evening. As unconvincing as they were last week they still got the W, and its just a matter of time before these forwards filling in for a few injured ones get their groove.Maloney played well last week but Johnson was no where to be seen look for that to change. This squad finds its true form today. It wont be easy, the DOGS are winners of 2 and have scalped the panthers and dragons to get them. Morris is playing extremely well and the forwards are one of the most dominating in the game, there will be plenty of line breaks in this one as Barber will look to expose the front pack and keep the warriors honest.

However the Warriors score points and score them well and it will be a busy day for doggie D as the crowed will be going crazy. the weak spots on the warriors is their D, so hopefully for as much as the warriors will score, a few Def stops will be crucial.

Storm have played well and are @ home and even though the roosters are no slouchers i think cam smith finds his boots today and helps convert the cover here. Dogs well what can i say this is a respect play here as they burnt me here last week, ARE THEY FOR REAL??? well i'll ride the train till it de-rails.

Pick: Panthers ML
Reason: (BEWARE ML FAV PICK) Coote, Jennings and Burns have all played very well this season and if Walsh plays as well as he did last week this could be a long afternoon for the boys from Cronulla.. Both teams are coming off good wins as the panthers downed the weak eels and the sharks served up a thriller to take the Cowboys. I rate the panthers pack and with ciraldo back i think the loss of smith wont be too much of a loss. The panthers always play well for their home support and although cronulla would favor themselves in this one the crowd maybe the edge here. Human wrecking ball Gallen has played above and beyond this season and the troops behind him have followed..Cronulla's halves have been somewhat quiet with up and down games, but maybe today is the day carney truly carves it up...Gardner will need a big one too.

Overall i think Walsh's kicking game and the Panthers home crowd will be the difference in a very close 8pt win the the Panthers.

Reason: I think the Raiders are a better team ATM and playing well of late, Cowboys confuse me sometime with their inconsistent style of play. if Thurston plays well the boys seem to back him up but many time he seems to go missing (hopefully again tonight). the home factor again as i tend to favor the home teams as well that are playing good footy. ML is out of the question as I'm firing a stinker in that category ATM and i feel more than comfortable to take the Raiders even they they're giving up 3.5 to start.
