I just knew it, i just knew it,...Surprise surprise, a team plays the Melbourne storm and what do they do, drop ball, drop ball, drop ball, drop ball, drop ball, drop ball, drop ball, drop ball, drop ball, drop ball, drop ball, drop ball, drop ball,....

Serously, first it was Souths, then Manly and now the dogs?....

We absorbed so much pressure on our line in the first 20 mins, we then go and score and its 4 all......

Reynolds makes a break, and what does he do? Drops the ball...

Thats all the storm did this finals series, sat back, and waited for the opposition to simply neck themselves...thats all they did, and tonight they were on que....

When we half decently held the ball in the second half, it was 0-0 in the second half.....

Thats all the storm do, sit back and wait for the opposition to neck themselves...The stephen bradbury of the NRL finals series.

If the Storm hold onto the ball and complete there sets whilst the other teams knocks it on wouldn't it make the Storm the better team?

Yeah, because one wouldnt expect a professional team to simply hold onto the ball.

The errors were all unforced. Name me one big hit which forced the dogs to lose the ball?

Sea Eagles get a penalty, take the tap and T Rex drops it cokd with no one around him...

Melbourne Storm -= Stephen Bradbury of the NRL finals series.....

Every team simply necked themselves....Storm didnt do anything special, nothing at all...Just sat back and waited for the team to kill themselves...

If the Storm beat the other team because the other team played like retards, does that mean the other team are simply a bunch of retards?

How many mistakes did the dogs make? The storm? Was there only 3 errors in total difference?

Serously, first it was Souths, then Manly and now the dogs?....And this is the storms fault how?

We absorbed so much pressure on our line in the first 20 mins, we then go and score and its 4 all......It was on 4 all because smith couldn't kick, not because of any positives from the dogs

Reynolds makes a break, and what does he do? Drops the ball...It was a knock from Perritt to Reynolds, or will we ignore that?

Thats all the storm did this finals series, sat back, and waited for the opposition to simply neck themselves...thats all they did, and tonight they were on que....And who's faul is that? The storm? the refs? the nrl? the tab? the dogs players betting against themselves?

When we half decently held the ball in the second half, it was 0-0 in the second half.....So no excuses in the second half, had most of the ball, yet still could not score a point? Is this degenerates the storms performance how?

Thats all the storm do, sit back and wait for the opposition to neck themselves...The stephen bradbury of the NRL finals series. If it's so easy why does every team not do this?

you really are one clueless individual

no mention of your guys wanting to fight after scoring a try that killed any momerntum points would have given?

no mention of the dogs being grubs and biting people? somehow you will blame slater for it

no mention of josh reynolds missing 7 tacklers?

no mention of the storm completing 34 of 37?

i suppose its the dogs fault that retards like corey payne kick the ball in the last few minutes?

Is it the storms fault that the dogs only have one attacking play (left through barba to morris) and the storm shut that down?

Once again reality differs from the rostos view of the world

I dont think there is a team in the WORLD that would have beaten Melbourne in that GF. They simply had the best game plan and stuck to it for the full 80min. Completion rate is unheard of in a GF. Hate to mention experience but it shone through.

Rostos your team done good all year and next year is something to look forward to. If you play like you do this year well a GF WIN is very possible.

Storm's game plan was just too good, But as Hirsh mentioned that fight was the stupidest thing the dogs did all night, Fired storm up more and killed all momentum

Also didn't help that barba was thrown around like a 10 year old

Ironic that all year the Doggies got away with not have an accomplished halves pairing until the game that counted

Reynolds and Keating's kicking game was awful yesterday and really shown up by Cronk

we completed 9-16 yesterday in the first half...and they were all unforced.....i was sitting there at half convinced Bellamy has a voodoo doll....Why did teams that played against them just drop ball after drop ball after ball after drop ball?

In the 2nd half, when we completed just as well as the storm, it was nill all......

Thats all the storm did, sat back and waited for the opposition to neck themselves...

In the second half, when barba chipped for Morris, all what he needed was a half decent bounce, of course he got a dud bounce, it wouldnt be the melbourne storms way of luck if he got a decent bounce.

The storm arent that good, trust me, nothing special, all what they did was held the ball, the opposition for any reason necked themselves...Dont say it was the difference in experience. manly have tonnes more experience accross the park than Melbourne and they also necked themselves...

Rod, when you keep dropping the ball set after set after set, it has enormous implications and flow on effects to the rest of your game. First off, it fatigues you big time, physically and mentally, it was no big surprise our kicking game was fucked up after that first half performance....

so the basis of your argument is that the dogs held the ball in the second half but didn't score a point

Just as a side note if you watch the game back Archer called all the penalties on the Doggies and Ben called all the penalties on the Storm.

Cant say have ever seen that and in my opinion the Storm got a lot of very good calls in that game that helped with the time of possesion and and were they had the ball as well but hey that is just me. Hard when nothing is going for you, means your try harder and harder and are bound to make mistakes

And you say you know Rugby league?

THis is proof that you have NFI about the game of league...

Trying to chase points is a completely different ball game to playing with the lead or even the scores level.

Heck, even down 1 converted try is a completely different ball game.

THIS impacts BOTH both the team leading and the team trailing.

And you think you know league....you have NFI what scoreboard pressure does.

The reality is, in the finals seies, whoever played the storm simply necked themselves, storm did nothing special at all....

You complete 9-16 , even Parra will beat you...Manly did the same as did the rabbits....

Coming out 10-4 at the break and 14-4 are 2 completely different things....

My example about second half completions was to show that if we hold the ball, we hold there attack, end of story..

Yeah, lets complement the storms defense for Glenn Stewart knocking the ball at the scrum base,,,,,,,

I wonde if Phil Jackson took complements when they played the Sac kings and missed tonnes of FTs...

Remember Australia's 16 years of cricket dominance when our team used to catch every single fielding opportunity whilst the opposition would drop everything? That's because Australia were better then them just like the Storm are better then there opposition

We won 2 penalty counts all year and still finished 1st...

Next year, Des will have a FULL pre season with this team, and we have arguably one of the most destructive ball runners in the game coming to us in T-Rex...Dont so much look at what he did this year under Toovey who was simply living off what Hasler built there, Toovey has NFI how to coach, he also had NFI how to use Trex..Wait till Trex gets under hasler next year.

Jonno Wright can also f###off to the sharks next year, Why he went for the bomb early in the game where ALL year we let the opposition catch those and hammer them is beyond me...we will get Steve Turner back...the guy who bellamy shed a tear for when he left the storm....Turner is a fantastic defender , especially n being able to read the play. He saved Idris' ass so many times last year...He is also a great finisher also in the air...

Looks like we will lose Graham for half the year, but watch out for the Toyota cup player of the year, Klemer, i wasnt really surprised that when we lost him in the final round we lost our 2 semis..he is easily the best prop in the NYC...I know thta it doesnt always translate to NRL success, but the kid has enormous size and talent....Give him some time under Halser...Our forward pack will be ridicolous next year.

also we get Hodkinson back, again, another player just like trex, when under hasler, were playing superb.....Hodkinson was average like most of the team under Kevin Moore...

When tipping at the beginng of who will win the GF or how there season will go, it is very hard because of injuries, you dont know. But all things equal, we will be up there again. It is still a very very young team
