Hard to argue against and they have my vote for top 5 at least.
A more compelling arguement can be made for "Greatest sporting team on the planet based on the last 12 months".

Last 12 months they have won every trophy possible, including the World Cup, Bledisloe cup Cup, Rugby Championship, just to name a few.
15 wins in a row mostly vs tier one Nations.

Kiwis are quick to put the boat in when someone is down. I prefer to embrace greatness.
If you disagree that the All Blacks aren't "The Greatest sporting team on the planet based on the last 12 months". Who is?

    Spanish football team

Wallaby team of the late 90's/early 2000's under Eales and McQueen the best rugby team since professional era IMO. Level of competition was far greater than what the All Blacks currently face. Fact that the current Wallabies team is ranked 2 in the world says it all.

Spansh football team is a contender for last 12 months.
    There aren't many others.

Lunchbox I suggest you educate yourself on All Black history.
Here's a few quick facts for you :

    -Founded in late 1800's

-Have never lost in history to two tier one nations, thats over 100 years and never lost. Only a handful of losses to a few other tier one nations in over 100 years.

-A winning record in history versus EVERY nation bare none.

-A win % of 76% in their Test match history. Only a handful of sporting teams have that high a % winning record, based on 100 years or over.

For the record I'm not much of a All Blacks fan. I don't have any teams. Being a hardened gambler I have no bias..... whoever my money is on is "my team".........Just calling it how I see it.

All Blacks do have a great record but i am debating that they are top 5 sports team of all time. Their competition are all shit. They dominate the poor man's league

They play a sport 0.000001% of the worlds population care about

Most, if not all, NRL teams will beat them

I don't agree with the competition being poor. I agree its not strong, but poor is way too strong of a word IMO.
For the following countries rugby union is in their top 6 or 7 sports, in terms of participation and resources :

-South Africa (probably their 2nd leading sport)
    -France
    -Australia
    -England
    -Ireland
    -Wales ( 1st or 2nd)
    -Scotland
    -Fiji ( 1st or 2nd)
    -Samoa (national sport)
    -Tonga (national sport)

Australia? no one cares, except the private school crowd

    UK, ditto.

France, still a long, long way behind soccer

The other countries you mentioned are 3rd world countries with 7 people and NZ steal their best players

it's a sport that no one cares about outside NZ, just like league outside northern Aust states and AFL outside the backwards states. It's like saying the Qld Origin team is one of the worlds great teams. They are not

Kangaroos would beat the Wallabies in a 80min game of rugby despite the Kangaroos players never having played rugby before

For South Africa it would be # 1.
Also think about this.....rugby union has similar competition levels to cricket when you think about it.

The majority of India is in poverty. Which detracts from the competition level, that on the surface the population number would Imply.

The All Blacks should be winning everything. No team is good enough to play to their standards and Rugby is crap these days. Its been a while since Rugby was worthy of watching. Australia are just garbage. The All Blacks shouldn't even exist anymore because of the lack of competition on offer.

Besides, thats the only thing NZ is good at, and what happens when NZ continent sinks? Australia may have a chance, or we combine, cos god knows, all the New Zealanders are coming to Australia.

The Warriors should be so much better than what they have been. Team should dominate and NZ should forget about the AB and focus on League, which is more popular in Australia.

Can I have the last 30 seconds of my life back after reading the last two posts?

Not sure why they should be winning. South Africa has far more rugby union players in their country than NZ and its not even close. As well as funding.
    England, Australia, France same applies.
