Seriously what can the NRL do when people out there have information before the bookmakers? You see it all the time when players are last minute withdrawls. When you get in bed with TAB this is what will happen and league is not the only sport affected.

Tandy and his friends are accused of conspiring a result on the field. Of course the NRL have to give this case a lot of attention.

teams aren't official until 1 hour before kickoff, people seem to forget that. If people want to place a bet on a 17 named up to 6 days before the match then that is part of the risk

The 1 hour rule has been in affect for years, nothing has changed. If you are worried about team changes then wait until an hour before kickoff

because gambling is all but illegal in the US. Having lived there for the first 75% of my life I know how it works there

betting agencies pay for those odds to be showed. Its called sponsorship.
