Super rugby round 18

Crusaders last week were terrible and they would know it. Sure the Blues had a huge win over Force and both sides will be desperate for the win this Saturday but the fact is that Crusaders are the better side. No way they can play as ineffectively as last week and with Read, Carter and Dagg all likely to start I expect to see an extremely committed Crusaders performance. If so they will win and cover the spread.

Target2million - of the other games the one I'd be most likely to play is Lions -6.5. Rebels having to travel with nothing to play for, might be having an early "end of season" trip. Hard to get excited about the Lions but at least they are in front of their home crowd and coming off a very good win. Whichever side has it's head in the better place should take the bickies and you'd think this would have to be Lions. With a loss meaning nothing both sides might toss the ball around and I would think this will probably go over 51.5.

Having said that, I won't be betting any games prior to Crusaders. If saders get up I might have something on Tahs game for an interest. My book hasn't put up an Over/Under number yet but my initial thoughts are that 50+ points will be scored.

GL Davo - personally couldn't back the Chiefs the way they have been going but they're up 10-3 currently.

Great game from the Chiefs, was to be expected. That showed the difference between the two teams, one has championship experience the other doesn't. One down two to go! I'm most nervous about the Lions this morning but Rebels only arrived in joburg 48 hours there is no way they can be ready to play @ altitude.

Agree buddy.  Whole week i wanted to bet chief to win.  Coz of my friends change my plan.  Never trust blody cans. They kill lots people money. 

Anyone got any idea why the Tahs are starting at 4pm tomorrow? Start in daylight finish in the dark. The obvious time to me would be 2pm. Watch the game in sunlight, get home before dark, dinner, tuck the kids in, everyone's happy. Reckon they will lose 8000 through the gate by starting at 4.

Saders covered albeit only by the half point. That said they would have been very unlucky not to cover. The intercept try was probably a 14 point try and Slade missed 2 penalties and 1 conversion. I don't know about you blokes but I was surprised (and not happy) that he was given the goal kicking duties ahead of DC.

Tear my hair out again with all the scrum penalties against the feed - aaagh!

Agree.  Saders played very bad. They lucky to win.
