Super Rugby Review - Round 1

Thought I might run a weekly review where we can all toss in comments about various games. Certainly not looking for whingers and tossers that appear in some forums, but knowledgeable rugby fans.

Lets see how it goes.

I'll kick it off.

Great to see the Blues as a contender again. Always loved Tana's commitment as a player and have been impressed with his results as coach at Counties. Don't know anything about that blockbusting 7 but he certainly impressed.

If Brumbies can keep opposition to under 20 they won't lose many. I can see them putting plenty in my kick this season.

Blues no. 7 was a revelation. Great to see blues triumph. I still have concern at blues no. 10 position especially when playing away from home. It is such a key and west not filling me with confidence. Bounce back game for canes next week?

yea will see how they go when they travel to africa always a let down for the blues there

Loving the Super Rugby already and 1st round not even done. Woke up to catch last 15 mins of Argies game and caught sensational try. Crusaders/Chiefs just magnificent. These teams are playing at a speed and fitness level that has never been previously seen and in Feb and in the 1st round. Wow! Sure didn't happen in my day!

Reds are snails of the comp and definite fade material.

Pour myself another drink and on to the Force/ Rebels game.

Reds were going to struggle as it is, without Slipper and Gill is just going to make things worse.
