At this point i think the only way forward is to keep at it and hopefully i will turn the corner and start going back in the right direction. Few crazy games last weekend and i tended to be on the wrong side as i have done all season.
Here goes for another weekend on the grind hoping just to go .500 for the weekend and actually win as many as i lose.
Picks:
Hurricanes +9.5 5 units @ $1.90
They played well in patches last week and i think really should have won the game. Highlanders were just to good for them. Canes welcome back Taylor at the back which will be massive for them in all facets of the game. Crusaders have struggled really so far to put up points and put away teams when they should. They are off the bye and could be just a little rusty, add to that this game is now do or die for the Canes and i think they come out firing tonight.
Rebels/Brumbies Over 44.5
This is a lowish total and for that reason i like it a lot more. Since the Rebels have joined Super rugby they have been an overs team. They tend to leak a few and show patches were they are able to score a few. Average score over the past 6 meetings between these 2 sides has total at 46, like my odds for this game going over with Brumbies starting to warm to their work and play very well and the Rebels have shown the ability to score points and stay in touch with better teams than themselves.
Chiefs Su 5 units @ $2.10
This game has to angles that i really love. Massive bounce back game for the mighty mooloo's and huge let down spot for the Bulls after a massive up set win over division rival in the Stormers. Bulls have now won 3 in a row and i believe that all ends this weekend at the hands of the Chiefs. They have rung the changes for this game and so they should after last weekend. I just believe that with both the above angles in mind this game has only 1 winner.
