Better team going up against the much hyped highlanders.

Highlanders are one dimensional, they rely on good clean ball to do any good. There's the problem. Man for man the Chiefs pack is much better than the Highlanders.

Front row = too hard to call, slight edge to chiefs.

Messam>Wheeler
Cane>Hardie(also latimer on the bench)
Lee<Manu(edge on experience, Lee looks really promising)

Aaron Smith is excellent when getting past ball but atrocious under pressure and Tanaka his back up is the same. I think the Highlanders get mauled here.

Brumbies -5.5

Rebels got themselves a nice backline but the forward pack still looks too weak for my liking. Brumbies looked super impressive last week, absolutely dominant forward pack. I see the brumbies wearing down the rebels pack and eventually opening the floodgates on them

I guess thats the great thing about having good coaching and recruitment.

Anscombe is a rising star, Osborne is a beast, Nanai-Williams has already shown he's great and Aki is a stud in the making also.

I also think there is great value doing pick your own line multi's this weekend

A lot of these games will be real close I think.

anything you like rod? not saying the chiefs are a sure thing here as they are perennial slow starters(lost to the highlanders round 1 last year funnily enough) but that backline has a lot of talent in it, my only concern is that it's a very small backline, aki and nanai are very small midfielders compared to nonu which is an area the highlanders should target. I think the chiefs forward pack will win it up front though.

Class at every position on the field, really like jantjies at 10...he will add attack to that backline and has a huge boot on him. Give me the team with the best defense in the competition in what should be a really tight game, think stormers +7.5 is great for a pick your own line multi

Hedged out of that on Bulls $1.70...will take the loss on the juice

Don't like tonight as much as last night but going with...

Blues +7.5 and ML

Not a play I'm going to put the house on but everybody thinks the Blues will be crap but when you're giving me a team coached by Sir JK and Sir Graham Henry I know this is a team that will be fit and give me 100%. A lot of talent in this squad and Weepu looks fit and motivated. Halai, Ranger and Piatau have the potential to do some real damage. I'll take my chances here, also leaning towards the over.

Waratahs +3.5(bought 2 points) and ML

Reds have no direction without Genia. Tahs had excellent defense last year and now they've added some really good attacking players(notably folau) like them to take down the reds here. Really like what Hoops brings in the loosies.

Blues +14.5 with Tahs +7.5 - pays $1.90...I like it

That was ugly I actually went okay because I jumped on the reds a $1.80 when it was 17-17 and went with tahs +8.5 in that multi I guess that counts as 0-3 on the record though
