Hurricanes are big favourites for this game but they tend to struggle to live up to the expectations when they are expect to win easily. The Force are without O'Connor and the rest of their backline does not seem much, especially when compared to what the Hurricanes have, but the home team has had their opportunities to do the job in the past, and have failed to live up to expectations. With wet and windy conditions expected, then believe that the Force will look to kick early and deep, to get the Hurricanes forwards to backpeddle, but also look to force them into mistakes which they tend to do. One thing the Force do well is tackle and with a very good back row, they can edge the Hurricanes here, especially of the ball is slippery, hard to see the ball move through the hand sof the backline. So with a game constricted to the forwards, the Force are well placed to keep it tight

According to News Talk ZB the winds might pick up but there is no rain or showers.

Sorry they also commented that the ground is dry due to winds and are expecting a running game

Not sure it is a good idea for the Sea Eagles to play this game in Brisbane on the back of QLD's win in the state of origin. While the Broncos are likely to be without their origin players, they still have a decent squad that is well rested after the bye, and their defence has been very good. While the Sea Eagles also have a good defence, not sure they will have it that easy trying to crack this Brisbane line, and believe the Broncos will hold their own, just like they did a few weeks ago when they played the Storm, and missing several of their key players, and just lost 29-22. That Storm side is better than the Sea Eagles and can see the Broncos keeping it close and maybe even getting the win

Not too keen on the Titans here as feel they will struggle to hold out Idris here. He has two reasons to prove himself: one to show the Titans what he will do for them next year but also with an opportunity to further push his claims for a centre spot in Origin II. Forwards pretty much cancel each other out while the halves combination are thereabouts, so looking for the edge, and believe if Idris wants this, he can cause havoc. Furthermore, you could argue that Barba, Turner and Goodwin edge out Campbell, Mead and Michaels, and if they give Idris some support, then they should be too strong for the Titans.

I use too B.C...However I chose to follow those that have nothing too add except a fans view..Still post on the Septic sports though...

Nice scoop for us both on the Force my friend..When it comes to lines you are think a like...Whether it`s a fools seldom differ thing is yet to be determined..

Love the nfl (my packers won woohoo!) as well as the college football, but struggling with mlb this year

As for the extra lines, if they are going to offer, then it is a shame if you do not take some of it

Looked good at half time with a 10-4 lead and then allowed 30 points with no reply to get blown away.

Highlanders off a bye and refreshed, ready to go. Not only do they need a win here but a bonus point as well as they sit in 6th spot with other teams around them looking to take that playoff spot. Doubt the Lions can handle the Highlanders forwards as they pile into the breakdown either to secure or gain possession of the ball, and if last week first half performance is any indication, then the Lions are in for a long night as the Waratahs easily led 29-5 at half time. With Thomson coming back into the side, the Highlanders are even stronger, and like them to get their bonus point for their 4 tries - and believe they will be able to limit the Lions here.

Eels may have turned the corner and may be starting their mid season run as they look to maintain the form from their demolishing of the Sharks. Hayne should be fired up to impress Origin selectors while the forward pack has plenty of muscle to give him some space to work his magic. The Knights have lost their last 3 games and are sliding, especially being without Gudley, and too much is resting on Mullen's shoulders to carry the side, as apart from him and Uate, there is not much quality in this side (until next year). Confidence is a key ingredient for these two sides who are both of the top 8th, and the Eels have some, while the Knights do not. Eels to edge this.

The Stormers lose key player Grant at fly half, and though they managed to beat the Blues without him last week for most of the game, they will need him here as the brumbies have Giteau there to pull the strings for their side. Believe that the win over the Blues will have taken something out of them in that physical game, and they may come into this game with some additional complacency given the Brumbies poor form of late. Expecting the Brumbies to be looking to make up for their ordinary form with a much better performance after their coah spat it last week, and may be the tonic for them to lift their game against the Stormers, who they have beaten in their last 6 home games in Canberra. Though going against form for this one, can see an upset on the cards
