Both NRL dogs covered last night so I expect a little bit of a fightback today from the favourites.

Canberra vs Sydney City

Can't tip the Roosters after last week's horrific showing. Raiders should really run up the score on these guys because it's quite clear they're thinking about the off-season and not footy. The motivation should once again be there for the Raiders in what should be a comfortable win.

Raiders - 6.5 @ 1.92 for 2 units

Carlton vs Essendon

Some key ins for both teams, however the ins for Essendon are probably more influential with Zaharakis, Stanton and Ryder back. Judd is back for the blues so that's fantastic for them and no doubt he'll be hungry for the footy. Should be a cracking game and I like Carlton to get over the line in a contest that will likely be decided by a kick or two either way.

Yeah just going on form and judging by that we will probably see a bad roosters side. Canberra haven't played well at home though so I guess you never know. BOL to you too snake.

Still a long way to go. Five goal swings always happen in the AFL but it's a good position to be in right now. If Carlton ends up covering along with the demons covering the negative spread then I'll be hammering the underdogs in the AFL this afternoon/tonight.

i follow it but I find it hard to get a grip on sometimes in regard to betting it. i'm much better at the NFL but i don't put my picks for that on here. hit a nice parlay this morning on the preseason. oh and i'm from Aus

Depends on the teams playing. some games are poor but others can be exciting. i love seeing good pitching rather than batting

Yea MLB is my true love now but do really like watchn the NFL as well. Usually post my plays foer the NFL in that forum and follow money2bmade and BigEastExpert and some others as well. Also love me some NCAA Football

Oh yea and how much do you like the play. I have only made to AFL bets all year and won both on the plays from luchbox.

It may sound silly but i find it works. I'm goinf to hold off to almost kick off and see what happens in that melbourne game.. but if melbourne cover the -34.5 spread then i would be very confident on it because very rarely do you see four favourites in a row cover the spread to start the round. not saying it's impossible, jusy unlikely. besides, i see adelaide covering the spread tonight and i think a dog has to get up somewhere. and richmond have been doing well lately anyway. i'll make my mind up in 30 minutes

BOL, however, teams have an atrocious record backing up from Monday night football and it is a short turnaround.

Cronulla have alot injury issues, Wade Graham is a huge loss, he was pretty much there secod best player....adds alot.
