Not too far away now and noticed some Pool markets on Sunday at the TAB
Have multied
Ireland to win pool $1.52
England to win pool $2.00
North Queensland to win NRL $5.00
Hawthorn to win AFL $1.90
Serena Williams to win US Open $1.75
Now back to the World Cup!
Ireland yep obvious favs in that pool.
Australia won't be able to beat England over there, scrum too weak. Plus the razzle dazzle style of football won't work against the poms in England.
Where the sticking point is for me, is who will lift the Cup?
NZ are obvious favourites because they are clearly the best team in the world, but England came down last year and put up 2 very good showings and nearly knocked the kiwis off. Over there I feel that the poms or the Irish could easily get the better of the best team in the world.
Which brings me to the northern hemisphere vs Southern Hemisphere market.
South $1.34
North $2.95.
Possible winners from the Southern Hemisphere
New Zealand
Possible winners from the northern hemisphere
England
Ireland
Wales
And let's not forget New Zealand's bogey team France. They could easily get knocked off by the French.
