You bastard norseman!  Gotta come into my thread and start hatin' on my Wolverines!

Although I will agree with you on this point.  Michigan effed up not getting Les Miles and getting RichRod from West Virginia.  Rod works in a place like the Ozarks, but not a smash-mouth, traditional program like Michigan.  I hope he finds success, for Michigan's sake, but I don't think it'll happen.  Carr, who I thought was average, was better, and Moehler was the best.  Moehler had those boys wrapped up like brothers and had them performing.

But, to illustate for our other Covers brothers what a sham this whole thing is:

"I have great trouble accepting that those family values have eroded in just a few months. " ... That I am unable to perform under these circumstances at the level I expect of myself, and my teammates and Michigan fans deserve, is why I have made the decision to leave."

Boren told reporters after Michigan's first spring practice 10 days ago that adapting to new coach Rich Rodriguez's no-huddle spread offense was physically challenging. He mentioned the difficulty the offensive linemen had constantly running to the line of scrimmage.

    ---

    HAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!

Basically saying that these fat, out-of-shape, lard asses that masquerade as athletes in collegiate football has trouble running a few metres to stop at the line!

    HAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Try some f#cking rugby you prick!  When I coached the high school boys, some practices I would run out of formation to puke by the fences before running back in there to support the kids I was coaching.  This a-hole gets a full ride to a top university and QUITS because he can't run a few metres to the line of scrimmage.  HAHAHAHA!

    Enough said norseman.

That being said, no matter how bad Michigan sucks this fall, we are going to steam roll your Iowa Suckeyes!  October 10th on National TV!  We can put some money on it if you wish!  Even though my Wolverines are going to blow this season.

Speaking of steam-rolling, let me restate that the Warriors will wish they had a BYE WEEK after what the Roosters will be handing them this weekend.

Only round of the season that I have felt this confident in a Roosters pounding of the opposition.  Mark it down.

Sounds like dorko had a problem with the up-tempo  part of the spread offense

I agree with the assessment of all 3 of those Michigan coaches you named......

The Iowa/Michigan pt spread should be about 6-9 pts as Hawks faves.

(I did bet against Iowa last year at Michigan St - first time in ages, or even ever, can't remember.)

You bastard norseman!  Gotta come into my thread and start hatin' on my Wolverines!

Just be thankful you're not a Husker fan, or I'd have to put my boot on.

Agreed.  If Nebraska came into here, I'd have my Corcorans on and stomp the piss outta them.    Can't stand them ever since they stole the co-championship along with the writers.  Biggest bullshit in the past 15 years of college football.

And if you are gonna give me 6-9 points for the Michigan-Iowa game in Iowa City, that would be more than enough!

I'm not playing any NRL games this weekend due to post origin blues but since your confident on the the chooks HoH I'm going to put a unit on them. I must admit my lean is towards the chooks when the lines came out.

    The play -

    ROOSTERS -1.5(1u) v warriors @1.77

P.S I hope you don't mind me posting my play in your thread.

i myself have looked at the roosters and may make a play but for now i am trying to work out a winner in the panthers/raiders game

if a winner cannot be decided surely it is an over 50 point game????

More often than not, teams seem to rebound in the positive, no matter the sport.

    GL OzFactor!

To be honest, I see the Roosters getting up by double-digits here.  Think the line (-3.5) is a total sham to keep people honest and scare 'em off either side.  Maybe not.  I don't care.

    Roosters roll in two hours...

norseman, if I didn't like you mate, I'd have some choice words for you.

Well, okay, let's turn this thread into the beat the fuck outta HoH thread.

    What can I say?

If you WATCHED the match, you will know what I am talking about.  Roosters DOMINATED the 1st Half, had a ton of possession in the 2nd.

First Warriors Try off of dropped 5th tackle easy catch turnover.

Another Warriors Try off of 3rd Tackle turnover when Fitzy got tackled, got up, and when playing the ball back accidentally kicked it forward a bit.  Dumb ass shit.

And then the winning try off of an ATTACKING Roosters 5th tackle on the Warriors 22, deflected after Pearce got hammered without the ball, picked up by the Warriors and taken 78 metres back for a Try with four minutes to go.

Yeah, Roosters had this this sewn up by 10+ as the Warriors DID NOTHING ALL BLOODY NIGHT.

    NOTHING!

I guess that's why we will be gagging on the Spoon this year.

    Fuck me.

Go ahead.  Beat me up.  Take your shot.  I came out the ass, called out a big win, and got my ass handed to me.  I wish the Warriors would have earned those tries instead of the Roosters gifting them with routine plays turning into try-scoring turnovers.

    But what can you do?

Okay, feel free to let me have it.

Worst loss of the season I am am absolutely gutted.

Go ahead.  Hit me now as I am down already and won't mind.

At least we stole AB's man in Smithy and perhaps can turn this fucking train wreck around next season.

Sorry OzFactor.  We didn't deserve this.  And I KNOW you were watching the match.

This has to be a low point for the club in years, or even decades. They blew a legit lead and got the match back, only to let a try like that go right on by them.

THAT sums up there season, right there.

Sorry, but they deserve it after letting that last one go like that. I'd say the same about my team or any other. And I have no dog in this fight - (had a small one on the Chooks along with the Tiggers, so it was no big deal either way, for me.)

But, if you watched the game, norseman, the Roosters didn't choke.

They let the Warriors score easy tries off of junior grade turnovers against the run of play.

    Mind-blowing.

I much rather have had them choke than allow the opposition to score as they did.

I could blame it on me jinxing the Chooks by making this "guarantee," which I never do as I am the most superstitious gambler on the planet........but I won't.

Damn, what a thrown away game.  Should have had this by 10+ easy......ARGH.
