I thought I'd share some good news, though.

Although I will agree with you on this point.  Michigan effed up not getting Les Miles and getting RichRod from West Virginia.  Rod works in a place like the Ozarks, but not a smash-mouth, traditional program like Michigan.  I hope he finds success, for Michigan's sake, but I don't think it'll happen.  Carr, who I thought was average, was better, and Moehler was the best.  Moehler had those boys wrapped up like brothers and had them performing.

But, to illustate for our other Covers brothers what a sham this whole thing is:

To be honest, I see the Roosters getting up by double-digits here.  Think the line (-3.5) is a total sham to keep people honest and scare 'em off either side.  Maybe not.  I don't care.

If you WATCHED the match, you will know what I am talking about.  Roosters DOMINATED the 1st Half, had a ton of possession in the 2nd.

First Warriors Try off of dropped 5th tackle easy catch turnover.

Another Warriors Try off of 3rd Tackle turnover when Fitzy got tackled, got up, and when playing the ball back accidentally kicked it forward a bit.  Dumb ass shit.

And then the winning try off of an ATTACKING Roosters 5th tackle on the Warriors 22, deflected after Pearce got hammered without the ball, picked up by the Warriors and taken 78 metres back for a Try with four minutes to go.

Yeah, Roosters had this this sewn up by 10+ as the Warriors DID NOTHING ALL BLOODY NIGHT.

NOTHING!

I guess that's why we will be gagging on the Spoon this year.

This has to be a low point for the club in years, or even decades. They blew a legit lead and got the match back, only to let a try like that go right on by them.

Sorry, but they deserve it after letting that last one go like that. I'd say the same about my team or any other. And I have no dog in this fight - (had a small one on the Chooks along with the Tiggers, so it was no big deal either way, for me.)

But, if you watched the game, norseman, the Roosters didn't choke.

They let the Warriors score easy tries off of junior grade turnovers against the run of play.

Mind-blowing.

I much rather have had them choke than allow the opposition to score as they did.

I could blame it on me jinxing the Chooks by making this "guarantee," which I never do as I am the most superstitious gambler on the planet........but I won't.

Damn, what a thrown away game.  Should have had this by 10+ easy......ARGH.
