NRL Week 5

Coming off a perfect weekend 1-0. Silly but have to take advantage of the small things right. Was away with mega trip so had no time to post. Will tell you though there was plenty of punting.

Starting my thread early this week as have a very busy day tomorrow and wont have any time. Thought would get to work early and make some plays.

Doggies +4.5 5 units @ $1.90

They welcome back some key players for the encounter this week and think they will be primed and ready to go. They snuck by last week in golden point which will do their confidence the world of good. Bunnies got beaten by Para, really, did not watch the game only seen the final result but that is enough news for me to take the Doggies and underdogs and hope for the best. Should be one hell of a game all the same and can not wait.

Broncos -3.5 5 units @ $1.80

Just have to keep plucking away with them until they let me down. I said at the start of the season that I really liked them and have to keep backing my word. They are missing couple guys this week but feel they have the talent to fill those spots effectively and keep the winning formula going. A win on the road is always massive and to do so in NZ is even better. I did see parts of the game and even though they did start to leak in that second half I am going to put that more down to the fact they turned off and were looking ahead to next week.

Thanks bud, I usually like to play totals but I have a hard time reading both teams. Sometimes they can have games were they just figure it out and put on plenty and then other times the Broncos can really struggle to score many points at all. BOL all the same, I would lean to the over for that game though as well

Had a good night last night to open Easter weekend which was nice way to get under way. However have to have a small rant about that Doggies game. That should never have gone on report and should not have been a penalty. That was as simply as a charge down and an accident. NRL really needs to remember that because a player gets injured does not mean there has to be a penalty and ban for the player inflicting the pain.

Saints +8.5 5 units @ $1.80

They showed me something couple weeks ago against the raiders and then again last week another win. So can not go past them tonight with the points. The Knights have been good but for how long can they keep going on this run. They are well due a let down spot and this could be a good one for the Saints to get another win on the board. Knights played well against a good Panthers team but does that mean they got up for that one big time and now due the let down?
